Not surprised by this - must have been a real blow to them last season when Gateshead Clowncil behaved as they did and the play-offs were denied. Surprised they haven't been poached by a bigger club than Crawley to be honest

It will be interesting to see the impact of them losing their management team moving twice in two years will have on the team. This may raises questions over the future of some first team players, who come January may move to Crawley to rejoin Elliott. The question is, will they go outside the club for a new manager, like Kevin Philips for example or will they look at the internal options and either way, this may impact on their league performances.

That’s twice now Mike Williamson has left them without a manager, albeit inadvertently now. First when he left for MK Dons himself, now because he left MK for Carlisle creating a domino effect where Crawley’s manager moved to Milton Keynes.
