Match Thread: Hull is for Heroes 10:33 - Oct 1 with 40636 views | Bluce_Ree | Am I tripping or is the apathy so high that there's not even a match thread on game day? Apologies if I'm spackman-ing this. But I can't see one. It's a battle of midtable with Hull City on a DDLLWW run vs Ciffy's Supers (DDWDDL). I'm not going to say must win. It's too early for that. But it might be must win in terms of me not exploding in rage at us dropping points in a winnable home game. Marti's got this. 2-0. I've not looked at team news but let's just say Frey and Dembele. Or not. Who gives a f**k?

Match Thread: Hull is for Heroes on 20:41 - Oct 1 with 1763 views | derbyhoop | 1-2 HT It was all us for 15-20 minutesthen we started giving the ball away. Cost us 2 goals and we looked beaten. Soft penalty, comprehensively converted by Madsen. Has Santos completed a pass? Saito gets knocked over by a breath of wind.

Match Thread: Hull is for Heroes on 20:41 - Oct 1 with 1762 views | Malintabuk | If it was nothing.... it was entertaining.... we started on fire and then yet again fell behind to a worldy.... lad here reckon that was the lads first ever goal.... typical Then we just fell to pieces, their short corners are killing us... and we looked like a team, which we are, low on confidence... and really not very good. Then the penalty... that was a mystery here in the ground, don't think anyone claimed for one.... and thought it was for pushing or holding, but reading here seems hand ball.....anyway good penalty.... So this must lift us.... you hope.... Thought Saito was our best player.... and we have to go for it from the start of the half....get a goal and equalise and this could be one of these nights
Match Thread: Hull is for Heroes on 20:41 - Oct 1 with 1745 views | VancouverHoop | We look very nervy. Perhaps understandably given our early dominance with nothing to show. Then giving away a once-in-lifetime worldy followed by a catastrophic second goal. The pen was a gift. someone needs to settle things down, and quickly.
Match Thread: Hull is for Heroes on 20:41 - Oct 1 with 1730 views | Benny_the_Ball | Postives - Fast start, lots of chances created early doors. Pen gives us a lifeline. Negatives - Didn't take our chances. Shambolic defending thereafter. Lots of misplaced passes. Work for Marti to do at half time.
Match Thread: Hull is for Heroes on 20:41 - Oct 1 with 1726 views | SteveB | Been said a lot, but we really do miss Hayden I think, even at 50% fit. Hook Santos, bring on Fox, shift Dunne to RB. Get Chair on as early as poss, push Anderson into the bloody Thames. Piece of piss this.
Match Thread: Hull is for Heroes on 20:43 - Oct 1 with 1643 views | THEBUSH | For me, Santos off, Jimmy to right back and Fox, to play along side, Cook.
Match Thread: Hull is for Heroes on 20:44 - Oct 1 with 1597 views | QPunkR | 'Watching' the game through the mediums of LFW and Sofascore - the latter of which has us at 1.83 xG to their 0.51 ffs - and of course goalkeeper saves, their 4 versus our now expected 0

Match Thread: Hull is for Heroes on 20:44 - Oct 1 with 1543 views | stainrods_elbow | I am starting to feel Field is part of the problem. We just don't create in midfield, and Dembele is wasted wide right. However well we started, we threw it all away after that with that amateurish 2nd goal and a number of passages of hopeless dispossession thereafter, though Madsen's (excellent) pen gets us a foot back in the game. Overall, Saito has done OK, and that's about it. Strangely, though I think we can still win this, another draw will probably feel like a (worryingly) good result. [Post edited 1 Oct 20:50]

Match Thread: Hull is for Heroes on 20:44 - Oct 1 with 1537 views | Damo1962 | We can't defend like that in the second half if we are to get anything from this. We really don't deserve to be losing, but we are so unconvincing with and without the ball...that we are making this hard for ourselves. I know one thing though, we are going to be bottom three soon if we don't stop conceding so many goals. We don't have enough at the other end to make up for it. Of course Hull are another money bags club in this league...so I wasn't expecting much tonight.

Match Thread: Hull is for Heroes on 20:45 - Oct 1 with 1472 views | Benny_the_Ball | Either that or bring Ashby on. Either way Santos looks out of his depth and should be subbed.
Match Thread: Hull is for Heroes on 20:46 - Oct 1 with 1423 views | Damo1962 | Yeah I know the Danes are a big let down, but I still think Field isn't good enough in the middle. He's a good defender really.
Match Thread: Hull is for Heroes on 20:47 - Oct 1 with 1417 views | BklynRanger | Controversial but I don't see Santos as the problem. He's given it away twice that I've seen, but tried to be positive and overlap. Hard player to outpace too which needs to be considered moving Jimmy over. It's down the middle that needs the most thought. Would have Madsen OR Anderson in the team at the minute, not both. [Post edited 1 Oct 20:48]

Match Thread: Hull is for Heroes on 20:47 - Oct 1 with 1403 views | Gloucs_R | Saito has done ok. Dembele should be in the middle. I said we needed to take those bloody chances. Decent first half apart from their two goals.

Match Thread: Hull is for Heroes on 20:48 - Oct 1 with 1332 views | Benny_the_Ball | Really? Midfield has been pedestrian, lightweight and awol at times. We need more from all of them. [Post edited 1 Oct 20:50]

Match Thread: Hull is for Heroes on 20:49 - Oct 1 with 1293 views | stainrods_elbow | Santos has been atrocious and should definitely be hooked. I really hope Ilias gets a quarter of an hour at least. Overall, we look a work in progress with a sprinkle of flair now and again, and a big propensity for self-detonation. They look no more than average, but we smell of bottom half, if not bottom 6, I'm afraid.

Match Thread: Hull is for Heroes on 20:49 - Oct 1 with 1273 views | Toast_R | Our defensive work if you can describe it as that, is actually terrifying. I haven't seen QPR this inept at the back since Stewart, Rehman and John Curtis having a go. [Post edited 1 Oct 20:50]

Match Thread: Hull is for Heroes on 20:50 - Oct 1 with 1248 views | VancouverHoop | I've liked him from the off. He's got great vision and bags of skill. He was central to our early flurry tonight that came to nothing. He doesn't impose himself on a game though, so seems to disappear at times. Hopefully as he settles we'll see more of him.
