Yes, clearly when he says that EVERYONE is fit, he doesn't mean that everyone is fit. So, either Stewart has been in full training for a while now and is available for selection, or like Baz, he is no longer relevant. After such a long lay off, it's hard to see him being considered fully fit without first doing a couple of games for the U21s, so maybe it's the latter.

Even if he were by some miracle fit to play he won’t be selected to start Pat.
Have you not remembered that we now play only with defenders, midfielders and wingers with the sole purpose of passing the ball sideways and backwards to obtain more possession than the opposition ?
But for long term injuries like Stewart, he should be one of the few. Competitive matches are different to training. That's why no one is ever fully match fit just from training. For someone like Stewart who's had so little competitive football, to go straight into the physicality of the PL is surely a step too far. There's no way he'd be sharp enough and he'd be at higher risk of injuring himself again.

I know it's unlikely he'll feature at all but I do wonder if a 30 min cameo would at least give us some physical threat up front rather than someone like Armstrong who do far has looked out of his depth sadly.
