I don't know if he ever comes on this site but I feel I had to post this. Also if anyone knows him personally can you pass this on to him.

Not spoke for a little while mate and not been on the pod for years and years but this news has knocked me back a bit . However knowing you like I do (which as others have said is more from
Listening to the pod than knowing you as a person ) , I know you will smash this .
It says an awful lot about you as a man that you are talking about it to encourage others to talk also.
You always have the Rangers ‘family’ at heart so now it’s time for us to support you .
And I’m sure we will .

Good luck my friend and if I see you in the next few weeks I’ll make sure to stop you as I’ve seen you about a few times and didn’t bother you mostly because I doubt you’d recognise me now .

Similar to many, I feel like I know Paul through the pod.
Good luck to him and his family. He seems like a good’un.

Paul,

This is one battle where defeat is not an option! As Brian says, we know that you have the mental strength and resolve to carry you through this unwelcome experience. You have a huge support group around you, use it should you need to talk things through and get peace of mind.

I'm coming over for the Portsmouth match in October, hopefully we'll catch up in the Crown then.

Best wishes.

Hi Paul

When the consultant tells you what you have its like being slapped in the face by a huge wet fish.

Went through the same in January being told I had a tumour in my groin.

Once your in the system, from my experience the Macmillan teams are fantatic as is the NHS.

Know that you have all of the QPR family with you. Its the start of another journy in life, try to keep positive there are loads on here who will listen should you feel the need to reach out.

captains fantastic

Good luck, mate. It's a huge deal to process and it will be tough, but you'll come through the other side.

Finney,
The last time we saw you was at Watford away (the promotion game) you were sat about three rows behind us, gawd knows how time flies.

Easy for me to say but fight this bloody thing, kick It, punch the bastard, grab It and tell It to feck off.

Please look after yourself, we're all shouting for yer.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

All the best for a speedy recovery Finney; same applies to any of the Rs family in a similar situation.

good of you to discuss it publicly as too few people do, and you sort of have a platform that you've used for good which will hopefully help others.

Used to drink in the White Horse 30 or so years ago so brushed shoulders with Finney a few times, before he was famous!

Wouldn't expect him to remember me but as with everyone on here the QPR family will be looking out for you, Paul, get well soon.

Going right back to OUR QPR and buckets outside the ground Finney has been a true stalwart. Thinking of you Paul and hoping you're back home with your QPR family soon.
