Rest of the Championship thread 11:07 - Aug 10 with 90000 views | Hunterhoop | Toyed with this idea last season. Shall we have a thread to discuss, comment on, cover the rest of the league? A place to discuss other teams’ results, performances, financial implosions, etc? For example, last night, anyone catch either of the first two games? I didn’t. But somewhat surprised/worried Blackburn scored 4 given how they are meant to struggle. Was it Derby being utter sh*te? Sounds like Preston are continuing in the same vein of being incredibly dull. Clive, what do you think? Worth making a sticky? Might reduce the number of threads to manage.

Rest of the Championship thread on 09:07 - Dec 30 with 3270 views | Paddyhoops | At the moment it looks nailed on that last year’s three promoted clubs will be dropping down again . The gap gets bigger every single year and is creating a leauge within a leauge as far as the championship is concerned. A football pergotory if you will . Too good to stay down too bad to stay up . As for Rooney . He’ll go down the same route as other Man Utd players such as Keane , scholes and the Nevilles into punditry . Nowhere near good enough for football management at any level.

Rest of the Championship thread on 11:04 - Dec 30 with 3115 views | GroveR | The quality of football in this league is usually variable but this year it's almost as though the players have collectively decided to really shìt the bed in a dirty protest at Sky's fùcking with the schedules. You can't look at this and tell me there's not at least two, possibly three players "sending a signal." In Italy you'd be looking at their bookies accounts.

Rest of the Championship thread on 14:51 - Jan 1 with 1930 views | GaryT | Oxford had only won four games before Xmas have just won three in a row. OOPs, BBC table was in real time, thought they were going to be on 30 points with their first win away but no, on 27 points. Still, they were joint bottom Xmas eve, now 18th. Gotta love this league. Rest of the Championship thread on 15:36 - Jan 1 with 1767 views | GroveR | That was the straw that broke that camel's back for me. I was just about willing to forgive the constant punches to the nearest striker, hoofs into row Z, diving for shots in installments and ill-judged social meeja moves until he spaffed that one. And he has the cheek to charge several hundreds of pounds to coach young kids on fùcking goalkeeping technique.
Rest of the Championship thread on 15:38 - Jan 1 with 1754 views | ManinBlack | Rowett is a decent manager and winning three on the bounce makes a big difference pulling away from the bottom. Oxford now have a fighting chance to survive as do Stoke appointing Mark Robins. These guys know how to manage unlike Rooney.

Rest of the Championship thread on 17:28 - Jan 1 with 1560 views | Benny_the_Ball | Yes, that is a strange coincidence. Both teams currently have an identical record of: Played 25, Won 6, Drawn 11, Lost 8, Goals For 27, Goals Against 33, GD -6, Points 29 How very Championship.
Rest of the Championship thread on 18:19 - Jan 1 with 1461 views | BucksRanger | 'P' comes before 'Q' so surely we should be 16th. Bloody BBC can't get anything right.
