Paris 2024 on 20:15 - Jul 24 with 1132 views | Whiterockin | It's a lot more technical than he makes out. It's more to do with arm length and leverage/pull for freestyle and butterfly not so much for breaststroke which has a different technique. The ideal shape for most events long body and arms with broad sholders, narrow hips and lean, in all honesty the leg length has little impact. It all means nothing if you don't have the determination, dedication and self discipline to compete at the very top. Janet Evans was a fantastic champion at about 5'6" but she had the other qualities, more than her fellow competitors. It's not just as simple as you are tall you stand the best chance of winning, the analysis of swimming goes much deeper and I'm not going to waste my time on the troll, I dont mean you. Probably the most dedicated of all athletes. Leg length is very important in freestyle. If you have short legs, then you will have a shorter upper leg acting as a lever onto a longer lower leg, this is not very efficient and it should be the other way round. Not so important with breastroke as the kick is completely different. The frog kick is the main driving force in this stroke

Paris 2024 on 11:18 - Jul 27 with 760 views | Dr_Winston | Andrew Cotter, Hazel Irvine and Celine Dion aside, that opening ceremony was a bit shite. Kudos for trying something different, but it didn't work. Questionable taste in certain parts too. Anyway, Team GB with their first day one medal in 20 years, and their first women's diving medal in more than 60. Good start.

Paris 2024 on 12:36 - Jul 29 with 497 views | onehunglow | Simply ,China should not be competing It is not sport for them. Exactly as was the case with the former Eastern Bloc Every Russian medal from 1968 should be expunged from the record book. All are tainted
