They’ve sold about 300 to 400 tickets for the stand opposite us,but you can’t buy the south stand online as it’s a family area.I can’t see how many they’ve sold for the terrace next to us or the terrace behind the other goal,but if they want a 1/2 empty ground,that’s their choice.

Yes correct i will be amazed if the crowd is over 5k , it currently states on the Cambridge website :
The Newmarket Road End, Main Stand and North Habbin will be open to home supporters for this fixture. Travelling Rangers fans will be situated in the South Habbin.
So not opening the Mead plant & grab South stand where the R's fans were for the friendly 2 years ago to anyone at present .
Yes it's their choice to have a half empty ground but after all the restrictions during the pandemic , all the nonsense statements of how the game is nothing without fans , the clubs would rather turn away an extra 800/1k visitors who would really enjoy a trip to Cambridge . | | | |
