Can't say I am particularly surprised and does feel like the club is moving in a completely different direction....

Best of luck to him.

Best of luck to him! Has performed many roles in his time with us. So a new development team head coach incoming?

Good luck to him.

I met him at the play-off final and he seemed a nice bloke.

How many years has pall hall been at the club?

I think he will get another football league coaching or even possibly a manager position in the lower leagues.

Given the speed in which they announced the GK coaching situation/replacement; I'd assume an appointment is imminent.

Seems like a lovely guy and a good coach, but I think a top-to-bottom refresh was always on the cards when Nourry came in, given we’ve not produced enough young talent recently. Will be very interesting to see who we bring in, and what changes as a result.

What was the evidence he was a good coach again?

Good luck to him and he's given decent service staying at the club for 11 years but we've badly needed changes behind the scenes for a while so I see this as good news

If you drain a swamp, aren't you just left with a lot of dead frogs lying around in a wasteland of stagnant mud, like a more upmarket version of Stamford Bridge?

Sorry, that may be my Wetland Trust membership kicking in.

Also: still wrong thread.

Not since Albert Pierrepoint has anyone been so thorough at dispatching the condemned.

This off-season has been just what the club needed IMO.

Many, many players who aren’t pushing for 1st team/step up are released.

Staff are moved on.

The old regime is being phased out, this hopefully means that the sickness and malaise that has festered here for years, could be about to go along with them. I always remember my old man saying to me 10,15, 20 years ago… ‘there’s something wrong with this club…’

This has been so positive, I hope it translates to success on the pitch, but ultimately gives our club a secure and prosperous future to operate in.

Love it.

Interesting that two long-standing employees are gone - makes you wonder (i) what were we doing for so long or (ii) was tenure the problem

Good luck to both Paul and Gavin fine servants to our club.

But I am with Monkey, it's good to see changes on the coaching team and fringe players being moved on.

LFW did an interview with him a couple of years ago where he explained what the club was doing with the youth system at the time.

Do we need Marti as Head Coach, XAVI as his assistant plus another First Team Coach?
Maybe there will be a replacement for Hall, but who knows?
