Great find - you could switch the names of the clubs around in that thread and a lot of it would be indistinguishable from what we've seen on here.

Have they got an dutch tazzy though

Reading the MVV forum they have good things to say about WSH as they put money into the club to purchase two good players.

Here is a snippit from the forum..

And the majority of the shares will indeed be in the hands of the Americans. But not all as the article shows. The Foundation retains a share and therefore control and - important to us - the association retains the 'golden share', which safeguards the club's core values. So there will be no 'Red Bull Maastricht' or other monstrosity.

Moreover, we should not expect that a bag of money will simply become available on top of what is paid for the shares. The Americans will help, but the club remains responsible for its own operations. We must take into account that it will become more professional and, above all, more commercial.

The above resonates..

IF we get out of this mess via the Americans and the deal looks close.. we need to look at ourselves closely, how we got into the mess and what needs to happen so we move forward living within the income stream. Dale must take into account that we need to become more professional and, above all, more commercial.

Much of what is commercially possible has been hamstrung by a lack of cash. Its easy to see ticket prices going up and much more marketing taking place to get more bums on seats.
There is a huge imperative to make money from the wider community which will also require a cash input, the extent of what can be done will depend on the depth of their pockets, but at least we may not be selling players too cheaply if we are not continually strapped for cash.
I also wonder if they might be thinking of bringing some US players over here to play in England and / or Holland.....
