Not my cup of tea, but found myself in one lunchtime having had half an hour to kill. Ross McCrorrie of Bristol City on one of the many screens saying it was “yoomiliatin'” losing to QPR. In future I'll look for a real pub or else sit in the park. Although it was raining.
Someone ought to inform Ross McCrorie that we've won there on our last 4 visits and that he's never been on the winning side vs QPR. I wouldn't describe Saturday as a humiliation for anyone; more - in fact - the norm, these days.
They could perhaps also point out he's joined a team that has very little heritage or sustained success in their history. They've existed for 130 years and basically have Louis Carey and John Atyeo (whoever he is?) to show for it. Although them pitching up in a kit commemorating the anniversary of a cup replay they won half a century ago should have been a strong enough hint to him.
Their message board was full of similar comments. More a case of they played crap against St a crap team they should have beaten. Not a word of praise for us playing well.
