Just watched it and to me this is the most impactful excerpt from the entire interview and perfectly summarizes the insanity of the current US foreign policy.
“Do the United States need this? What for? Thousands of miles away from your national territory. Don’t you have anything better to do?

Putin is correct. The US should be concerned with their own issues and not funding wars on the other side of the planet. Sounds kind of like “America First”.
The Russian regime is now directing the Wagner group operations in sub Saharan Africa and it’s also causing instability in Europe enabling migrants to arrive in the EU. The Russians are in cahoots with Iran and North Korea as well as having numerous links with China which is spreading its influence through the Belt and Road initiative.

Putin actually said the he hardly speaks to presidents and only deals with the CIA. This, we know, is true. Putin is at least a leader. Biden is not. And I don’t even want to mention the calamity we have in UK.
As politicians go, Putin seems the best to me. Answers questions, explains his actions.

With respect ,it has. Ukraine was to Russia what Saskatchewan is to Canada . If Ukraine had nothing of importance,Putin would be less interested although he doesn’t like people to stand up to him. It’s why Poland is concerned,as are the Baltic states . He wants them back .
So if he's so insular and wants to be left alone why does the Russian military send aircraft and ships to test the UK defences ? I mean we're so far away with no u immediate threat to his borders so why bother risking a political if not military incident.
