What you're doing there Nick is misunderstanding how modern football chants catch on, the way it works now is,
1. Man City, Liverpool, Man United, Celtic, Rangers make up song 2. the team that plays them immediately steals it and posts a video of "their version" on social media 3. other clubs steal it and video themselves singing it in the concourse whilst throwing beer around 4. every single club has a version of the "new" song, all other "new" songs are shoehorned into the same tune for the next five years 5. Man City, Liverpool, Man United, Celtic, Rangers make up song...

In truth that is just as it was back in the 1970s, every team sung Youll never walk alone and a plethora of other songs, none of whom were original bar all but one team per song.
At Wembley in 1976 Saints fans released thousands of yellow & blue balloons as the teams came out, it was spectacular, but it wasn't original in the 3rd round at the Dell Villa fans had done the same with claret & blue ones.
The only thing that has changed is the fact that there is social media so it is easier to catch on.
Liverpool & Manchester United seem to be the only English teams who have songs that last more than a verse and a chorus though and those songs dont tend to get copied

Downes, Downes, Super Flynn Downes Downes, Downes, Super Flynn Downes We want all the world to know Just how good he is and so Downes, Downes, Super Flynn Downes Downes, Downes, Super Flynn Downes
You can't beat the combination of Müller and Schubert when it comes to song lyrics.
You want even more words? A definite WIP, but to the tune of 'Hey Jude':
Flynn Downes, we are glad You have joined Saints to make us better Remember to let us into your heart Then you can start to make it better.
Flynn Downes, don't make it bad, Take a football and hit a belter. Remember to let Saints into your heart, Then you can make Southampton Better, better, better, better, better, better, oh!
Na na na nananana, nannana, Flynn Downes, Na na na nananana, nannana, Flynn Downes...etc
Why don't uglies start some chants? If you get 4 or 5 uglies standing in a vocal area, who then kick off with a pre-arranged song after a few choruses the others should join in., yes? We're p*ssed off with the poor quality singing so why don't WE transform it.
