Reading FC on 15:41 - Jan 13 with 7311 views | Rangersw12 | Trying to split the fans now saying if they don't get off the pitch will be a points deduction Fair play to them on the pitch , got to get the game abandoned for maximum coverage [Post edited 13 Jan 2024 15:42]

Reading FC on 16:17 - Jan 13 with 6932 views | mart_Goblin | Was saying something similar to my dad on the phone last night . I said that very soon our fan base would crack. No signs of it yet as we are almost apathetic at home at the moment , but it will come sooner or later

Reading FC on 16:24 - Jan 13 with 6866 views | thame_hoops | If memory serves correct, it was early 90s, and we went 3 or 4-0 down to maybe Leeds? People stormed the pitch chanting “we want Thompson out”
Reading FC on 16:32 - Jan 13 with 6812 views | Rangersw12 | Don't know if our fans are united enough for something like that We're getting relegated and nobody gives a fck
Reading FC on 16:34 - Jan 13 with 6800 views | Galileo | You’re confusing me now, wasn’t the anti FPR pitch invasion at half time against Man City before that ?

Reading FC on 16:43 - Jan 13 with 6705 views | thame_hoops | Yes, there have been a couple, this was early 90s. If anyone can shed some light on the game I’m talking about, that would be great. I’m sure Gerry Francis or Ray Wilkins announced on the tannoy for people to get off the pitch [Post edited 13 Jan 2024 16:43]

Reading FC on 16:45 - Jan 13 with 6693 views | BazzaInTheLoft | I wouldn’t go on the pitch for relegation, shit results, or bad players. I would if liquidation of the club looms.
Reading FC on 16:49 - Jan 13 with 6667 views | loftupper | If memory serves me right the fanbase was not particularly united back then either..
Reading FC on 17:51 - Jan 13 with 6372 views | Lblock | Agreed Being shit is pet and parcel of following a club like ours. But watching it being run into the ground, rinsed, imploded or fcukd like a crack whore passed around a bunch of pinstripes at a crank party must surely spur people to action. I’ve said before though I’m sort of done. Been consistent in my views for years that this lot would kill the club and sadly they are / have whilst the vast majority cut them more and more slack. Sometimes if you know the car is dodgy and the driver is a nutter then you’ve gotta get out and walk as when it crashes it’ll proper hurt.

Reading FC on 18:54 - Jan 13 with 6143 views | Antti_Heinola | Nonsense, I'm sorry. Just because people aren't being violent, invading the pitch, attacking board members etc etc does not mean people don't give a fk. I'm getting so tired of people saying that. It's absolute rubbish. People are fuming online. The team gets booed almost every week. But I fail to see why trying to support the team is some kind of bad thing. While I think there's a very real possibility we are going tio sink through the leagues, it's a very different situation here.

Reading FC on 21:14 - Jan 13 with 5810 views | Ned_Kennedys | That’s the spirit. Totally different scenario. Apart from them wearing a similar but sh1tter kit.
Reading FC on 21:36 - Jan 13 with 5723 views | mart_Goblin | Don’t always agree with you but I have to agree that we all do ‘give a f*ck’. If we didn’t we wouldn’t all be endlessly discussing this bloody football club on here . Although the team might get booed a little at full time though (if we’ve lost, obviously which is stsndard), the fans do seem a little brow beaten by it all. So I can understand the flip side . There has been protests and demonstrations before and I think we’ll see the like again if and when we get relegated . Not just because we might have been relegated but the years and years of misrule will have taken its toll. Problem is, who do you protest at? The ‘owner’ isn’t there. The board are absent. The Chairman is in semi retirement. You can’t blame Marti for the mess. The players? But what good will that do? In fact it will just do more damage to an already fragile bunch , especially the youngsters who just don’t deserve it. The players didn’t assemble themselves as a squad so can we really blame them and the people that did assemble them have now all gone . It’s tough . Just got to get behind them now but come out of January with a bunch of home defeats and the fans WILL turn I’m sure
Reading FC on 21:46 - Jan 13 with 5677 views | bosh67 | Good luck to the fans. They really don't deserve what's happening to them. The game and its governance is hideously distorted.
