Ill start with Jason McCarthy , 1 league game for Saints on Boxing Day 2014 in a 3-1 win at Palace and 46 games on loan at Walsall in 2016/17, he has made a decent career out of the game, playing for various clubs and making over 250 league appearances

Oliver Lancashire.

Walsall was definitely his standard.

Simon Gillett. Saw him produce a completely dominant midfield performance against Robbie Savage in a win at Derby under Poortviet. Really thought we were going places that afternoon. Which I guess we were....

John Christie. Goalie who played for us in the 50's. Tony Godfrey and Bob Charles succeeded him. Scotsman who stayed in the Chandlers Ford area and managed Winchester Castle.

Im surprised no one got this one Roger Fry who played in the first Saints game I saw back in 1972 and then went to Walsall in 1973 and played 136 times for them.

Strangely he played his last game in League football in 1977 at only 28/29, a few players of that era seemed to retire prematurely

I always liked Siimon Gillet..a midget in midfield but put himself about and was a decent passer.

Derek Statham.

I actually googled Ronnie Ekelund because I couldn't believe he'd played for both but you're 100% right.

Also shout out to the worst footballer i've ever seen wear a saints shirt (bar none) there, mr Lee Todd.

Did Lee Todd actually make it into the Walsall team?

Once, didn't end well

21 Sep 1999 Walsall v Sunderland L 0-5
Agg: 2-8 League Cup 2nd round 2nd leg

Dave Jones Paid £850K for Lee in 1997, after 10 PL games got sold to Bradford for £250K.
How much is 850K worth 27 years later in todays market?, good business eh?

Roger Fry was/is a proper mush, born in Southampton, brought up in Weston and now lives back in the city and a season ticket holder to boot.
He left Saints after the 7-0 thrashing at Leeds and went to play at Walsall's old ground at Fellows Park along with a fellow Saint, Terry Spinner.
Roger returned to The Dell later for a Cup Tie playing for Salisbury v Millwall,
