Who would you like or think will be in the side to face the Saddlers

I think we will see Joe Lumley in goal perhaps Tyler Dibling & Amo-Ameyaw given a run out.

Outside bets id like to see are Kamari Doyle & Diamond Edwards who may both be injured

Play a few youngsters and Lumley in goal as you suggest, plus Meghoma and also give Mara a start

Are Walsall bringing many fans?

Rang up the ticket office earlier, who wouldnā€™t sell me a ticket in Block 2; the nearest I could get was Block 3, which seems to be filling up a bit.

So hopefully a bit of noise in the Itchen North if not anywhere elseā€¦.

There were tickets I think in Block 2 early on.

Sales must be going well, theyā€™ve just put 3 blocks in Chapel on sale, as most other areas of ground near to selling out

Walsall were given the full 2,800 but may have scope for a few more if they sell them, they havent said how sales are going

Please not lumley in goal!

Why not Lumley in goal, he has yet to play a game so how can he be slagged off

Its a record for a Saints player, Ryan Manning held the record for the first slagging off from the fans with his 2 1/2 mins at Sheffield Wednesday this season, so Jo Lumley smashed it with the first criticism coming 3 days before his actual debut.

Personally i have enjoyed the travel programmes and Absolutely Fabulous

In fairness, I gave Manning until Plymouth away, which showed the relative patience of a Saintā€¦..

He isnā€™t very good and we want a Cup run dont we?
That said both our reserves are cack soā€¦..

McCarthy hardly covered himself in glory in our only cup game to date this season, so if they wanted to keep Baz for League games, you can see why they may look to Lumley.

Walsall have sold over 2000 tickets according to their forum and Twitter.

Good; hopefully a half-decent atmosphere then.

Should be a decent atmosphere. Saints look to have sold over 20, 000 tickets too, so they have opened 3 blocks of the chapel. Could be a walk up as well.

They should have just had the whole of the Chapel Kop open from the start.

Makes us look very small-time shutting whole stands. Iā€™m sure somebody will point to the saving in stewarding and toilet cleaning costs etc, but itā€™s pretty small beer.

Besides if the queues are shorter in the concourses as the crowd are spread more evenly around the ground, we might actually sell more food and drink at the concourses.

They might end up having to, if thousands of late ticket buyers turn up en masse tomorrow.

I bought a ticket myself this week, purely on the basis that I would hopefully get the chance to see Small Jobs leading the line up front, putting in the sort of display which will seal his big money transfer to a top Ligue 1 club.

Look forward to seeing some of the youngsters play especially Dibling.

I expect Amo-Ameyaw to be the star of this game. Dibling is going to have to wait until the 2nd half to replace Mara.

Have to say Ryan Fraser is looking like being Saints best player on current form...if only we had a decent striker to get on the end of his crosses.
