I’m not altogether sure what to think about this. 10 mins is not enough as most teams will be able to shore up for that amount of time. Also, the binned player gets 10 minutes rest which could be an advantage if he’s off in the last 20 mins.
It works well in rugby because numerical advantage can result in points more easy than in football.
it's got to be 20 mins, it has to be long enough to be a proper punishment. Even if the player comes back on a tad fresher the rest of the team will have had to cover and someone will be more tired.

Just automatically suspended any player cautioned for the next match. You use to get a 1 match suspension for 3 cautions. Now players can pick up 9 cautions spread over season and not gey suspended.
