Yes it appears that Lee Hoos is now COO CEO DOF head coach God Of Football Captain

Never knowingly right.

What the fck is going on behind the scenes of that club?

I’m not down on Hoos like most fans, but this guy was giving the middle finger to a fan not long ago, albeit a provocative and abusive one!

I think Hoos is playing up front on Saturday.

Poll: Wherever QPR end up playing home games in the future, what is most important?

So he can spend more time on the golf course?

Talked a good game, but at the end of the day, a pretty useless chairman. Hoos is now the Emperor of Loftus Road. Not sure what to make of that.

I suppose after the Ainsworth debacle he perhaps had no choice?

We also now have The Bhatia stand and Ruben's Dad training ground. So in a few days we've sold the sponsorship for 3 assets

The Chairman also being Chief Executive is frowned upon these days, but, if that's what is ncessary to drive the club forward, then, so be it.

To my QPR family, a few parting words as I step down as Chairman to express my sincerest thanks to you for your support of me through the last 16 seasons.

Suffice to say, It’s been the ride of a lifetime. We have shared many forever memories together. I was a young man of 27 when I became an owner, and QPR has been an integral part of who I am every week and weekend since. It’s now the same for my children and my family, we all bleed blue and white hoops.

It has been the privilege of my lifetime to be involved with and lead QPR as chairman, a responsibility I have always cherished and worn with great pride. I have always known unwaveringly, that this is your football club, and that I am merely a custodian of its legacy for a period of time. That responsibility has always guided me to do my very best, within my ability to do so.

Before the start of last season I felt that we were in the strongest position we had been in for many years, and that perhaps now was our time. It’s hard to believe we sat at the top of the table a mere 12 months ago. What has happened over the past 12 months is as confusing as it is unimaginable. I haven’t said much recently, frankly because I really couldn’t explain it or didn’t know what to say. The unprecedented slide we’ve suffered has necessitated multiple changes, decisions that I regret have not proved successful.

As I step down, I wish circumstances were different. It is undeniable that we have made a poor start to the season. However, I remain steadfast in my belief that we have more than enough quality in our squad to turn this season around. The recent appointment of Marti is a very exciting one, and I hope it brings with it a change in both our fortune and form.

Thank you again for supporting me, and for your continued support of this amazing football club that needs you now more than ever. Though I'm stepping down as Chairman, I remain a devoted fan and shareholder, as do my family. We will continue to do whatever we can to continue to support the club.

Sincerely
Amit Bhatia

Is he a Doctor also?

Seems a bit weird we are moving forward with one man as CEO and Chairman and no DOf.

Now he runs the gaff!

He went up in my estimation for that. The bloke trying to wind him up was an utter cünt IMO.

This was the time for our silent American to step up but he’s still just lingering around in the background pulling the strings.

Would he not usually be required to make an investment to be a board member?

I do wonder if the backdrop to all this is a major change in shareholding coming. Maybe not Ruben if he's chucking money in on the stadium and training ground side but maybe this is the beginning of the Mittal/Bhatia's walking away.

Blimey all happening this week...

You don't need to be a shareholder to sit on a company's Board of Directors.

Either Hoos is the man for a new incoming ownership structure and this move is to help the sale go through and the transition, OR the existing Board have had a right royal rumble over the last couple of months behind the scenes with Amit losing out (his decision to instill GA) and the decision made to change it up and give more power to Hoos (who presumably wanted to go a different path before Ainsworth and has been proved right (perhaps on more than just this).

It could be both.

So much movement at Board level would typically signal a sale though. Hoos is American. Reilly is more involved. Hoos moving to Chairman. Makes me think we might have some new American owners soon and Hoos’ task is making it happen.
