Just watching the game now and Dorkings pitch is bad.3G-4G has to be an advantage if you play on it so regularly.

I will be thankful if we get through 90 minutes of this with no serious injuries.
This pitch is awful, more rubber than 'grass'.
The players are quite obviously struggling to cope with the way the ball is (not) running.
It's playing as though it's waterlogged .

No real excuse for a ground in the relatively mild and dry south east of England. You could understand it with the Rochdale weather but not down there.

Yet another goal conceded because Keohane just cant defend against anyone running at him.

Bit of a snoozefest up to now. Hopefully, it might wake us up a bit. Mitchell really struggling up front on a very difficult pitch.

Sinclair is injured more than a blind one legged downhill skier it seems but has the recovery skills of a T-1000.

Swiss Army skinned, he is totting up the ‘that cost us a goal’ stats of late, starting at the Halifax game. Not sure who has the worst shooting school between him and John in this seasons maurauding fullback tactic.

To be honest, thought we should have been ahead first half and played ok.

Blimey.

That was unexpected!

Swiss army with the assist for Hendo. All is forgiven. 😀

Snatch and grab. Bit lucky to win that. Spent 80 minutes looking unable to shoot and ended up with a couple of goals at the end.

Still in need of Rodney coming back and a right back who can put a tackle in .

However. .its 3 points.

Does anybody know the situation regarding Rodney other than he has an "illness".

Oduroh can tackle. He looks quite good defensively. The manager often prefers the offensive attributes of Keohane, who helped ensure we got three points today.

This team is far from perfect, but let’s be a bit more accepting of what players are good at rather than what they’re not.

Dale the more skillful and thoughtful and I thought we deserved the win. Jimmy boobed for their goal but got us one back, a good assist and he always looks lively in attack and joins in really well with the forwards. Midfield were very good today, none of the going backwards but looking for that quick intelligent pass. We certainly more rapid going forward. Thought we could have been a few up today, Mitchell seems to have lost confidence, losing out to 50/50 challenges and weak shots . Although he does get marked out and gives our goal scorers more space. Great 3 points and 4 points from 2 difficult fixtures.

Sweet win over that loudmouth tosser of an owner/manager.

The Dorking BBC local radio commentary team were very complimentary about Mitchell. They had Barry Fuller who’s been at Dorking (former Gillingham and Wimbledon defender) as a summariser and he was constantly referencing Mitchell’s hold up play and the work he put in for his team.

There is a player there. We have to let it play out.

Was East coming off a tactical substitution or did he pick up an injury?

Do you think the introduction of Jez made a difference in creating goal scoring opportunities for the Dale?

Exactly. I'd hazard he knows more about football than some of the 'experts' on here.

Contrary to what some might think, I reckon Mitchell gets off lightly. The guy doesn't miss many chances because he never gets in the right positions to have them. This league is so poor, a half decent striker would have seen us easily in the top 4.

How good is that feeling on winning late even though we might not have fully deserved it. Bi gum!! , we have been on the receiving end of many, many results like today's so let's all rejoice and see the back of two long away trips. Even our Board of Directors must be happy with that show?

Rest the lads for a day or so, and then get them pumped up for Chesterfield battle.

Similar. Been on the road since this morning, heard we were 1-0 down early in second half and was hoping we'd sneak a point but great to get all three

The lads will be knackered and a tough home game on Tuesday, a real test of our stamina and mettle early in the season. If we can stay unbeaten after next Saturday too, i'll finally start to think we may be in with a shout this season

I would happily have settled for four points from these two away games before kickoff on Tuesday.
Another four points from the next couple of home games would be nice to round off September too.

In his post match interview Jim said he doesn't recall a game in all his time with Dale where we were losing at 87 minutes and went on to win. Was today a record in terms of minutes left in the game before coming back?

'Only happy when you've got it often makes you miss the journey'

Felt a bit like smash and grab in the end but we were the better team against fairly poor opposition. Jez again made the difference, gave them a lot more to worry about and created the winner.
