1 in 2 people in Wales will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime so it was beyond crass to say “I hope no one you know gets cancer” when it would be pretty difficult for me to have avoided it in my life.
As someone who’s currently staring cancer in the face right now, I rather understandably reacted to such a poorly thought out comment. | |
