Swans Match thread on 21:08 - Sep 19 with 2948 views | QPunkR | Sinclair off Dykes on. Surprised we haven't gone two up top

Swans Match thread on 21:08 - Sep 19 with 2948 views | HertsR | Westy, turn it in. He's a young lad learning his trade. If any striker in the division was mastering your 'basic centre forward play' they'd be hitting 20+ a season in the Championship and be snapped up. It's not as easy as it looks. I understand your frustration but think your ire is misdirected. He's being asked to lead the line with little experience. He'll get better. What won't help is keyboard tacticians slating a genuine player giving his all. That said, if Dykes is fit he should probably be leading the line with Armstrong coming on from the bench and getting more game time and experience as time goes on. However, as it is, we've had no one else to step up and Sinclair has been the only option. The last couple of months has been a steep learning curve for the boy and will, I think, pay dividends in the future.
Swans Match thread on 21:08 - Sep 19 with 2948 views | VancouverHoop | Smyth does some things brilliantly, but almost as many really poorly.
Swans Match thread on 21:08 - Sep 19 with 2931 views | QPunkR | I mean, I count two touches Dozzell's had tonight
| |
Swans Match thread on 21:09 - Sep 19 with 2868 views | Malintabuk | I honestly think that maybe a reason there is no interest in him. Great player in many ways but he just seems to hold onto the ball looking for something perfect

Swans Match thread on 21:13 - Sep 19 with 2644 views | CamberleyR | He's going to be living off the reputation of that worldy at Middlesbrough for the rest of the season I reckon.

Swans Match thread on 21:13 - Sep 19 with 2594 views | ted_hendrix | 7 minutes In and we're a goal down, 60 odd minutes later and nothing has changed, this Is brutal.
| My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic. |

Swans Match thread on 21:15 - Sep 19 with 2506 views | QPRSteve | Dozzel being asked to play deeper obviously doesn't suit him. Did make the chance for Armstrong though.
Swans Match thread on 21:16 - Sep 19 with 2422 views | qprd | Feels like we could continue this match into Friday v Birmingham and we still won’t score
Swans Match thread on 21:17 - Sep 19 with 2311 views | qprd | He played well against Sunderland
Swans Match thread on 21:18 - Sep 19 with 2259 views | Benny_the_Ball | Indeed. It was Dozzell's lovely little pass around the corner that found Armstrong in acres of space. Unfortunately Sinclair didn't realise this and rather snatched at the shot.
Swans Match thread on 21:18 - Sep 19 with 2262 views | QPunkR | That was the first touch

Swans Match thread on 21:20 - Sep 19 with 2051 views | VancouverHoop | Yeah he apparently disappears when asked to play deep, but I'm not sure it's the case. He maybe does the 'quiet' things, like cutting out crossing lanes that don't get noticed so much.

Swans Match thread on 21:21 - Sep 19 with 1979 views | qprd | Willock played well. Not an amazing performance of early last season but think he can build off this Do we still really need 3 centerbacks right now? Why not go back 4, kakay at rb and another midfielder
Swans Match thread on 21:22 - Sep 19 with 1920 views | rbee | Pointless sub in my opinion. Kelman is a finisher and we aren't creating chances.
Swans Match thread on 21:24 - Sep 19 with 1806 views | rbee | Gareth moved him back to a postion everyone knows that he is not comfortable in. Duke-McKenna for Colback might have been a better decision, might.
Swans Match thread on 21:26 - Sep 19 with 1695 views | actonman | I don’t really know where to even begin with us at the minute? Can’t keep looking at excuses , hand ball , man sent off , injuries blah blah fking blah every week !! Swansea are awful and as low as confidence is , should have been put to the sword that first half It’s all getting a bit tedious and predictable tbh
Swans Match thread on 21:26 - Sep 19 with 1631 views | StreathamRanger | Not seen all our games so maybe tonight is particularly bad but we don't seem to have much thought to our game. Everything seems to just be on instinct. Some half decent players but it's a bit like kids football.
