That’s entertainment 18:53 - Aug 12 with 3460 views | cynicalsaint | Thoroughly enjoyed that. Woeful defending, some very promising attacking. But the absence of VAR meant it all happened real time. For the benefit of the fans in the stadium. Football like it was meant to be.

That’s entertainment on 07:16 - Aug 13 with 3083 views | Bison | So refreshing football without VAR. I will take the bad beats just for the 'moments' when you know the outcome without having to wait an eternity for the damn computer to do its stuff.

That’s entertainment on 07:21 - Aug 13 with 3080 views | SalisburySaint | Echo what everyone else says, great entertainment, made all the better without VAR. Knowing that unless linesman’s flag was up for offside, we could celebrate the goals, and knowing that when a penalty is awarded it will not be overturned. Saints great going forward, but woeful at the back, but I’m sure that will be addressed, a good defensive midfield player would help. For those who suggested Russell Martin’s possession based style of game would be boring, they couldn’t be more wrong, yes we play it around at the back, and backwards sometimes, but none of the endless playing from one full back across to other and back again like we’ve seen before, but patient play waiting for the right ball forward. On evidence of first two games it’s going to be entertaining, we may not go up, but it looks like it’s going to be fun
That’s entertainment on 08:37 - Aug 13 with 2964 views | A1079 | Brilliant entertainment and it feels like football matches as it should be. If I wanted to be picky you have to wonder why for so many seasons now we have not resolved the defence and clearly we won't go up conceding goals as easily as that (and the Friday night against Leicester when it comes - what could possibly go wrong?) but I am happy with the sheer joy of seeing goals and something to cheer about.
That’s entertainment on 08:53 - Aug 13 with 2935 views | barry_sanchez | With Bazunu, Stephens and Bednarek playing we'll struggle irrespective, they're not good enough, their positional awareness is non existent and its hard to imagine we'll always score 4, but you can bet your bollocks to a barn dance we'll always look like conceding 4 with those absolute clowns playing.

That’s entertainment on 10:25 - Aug 13 with 2841 views | cocklebreath | It was brilliant but every time that ginger nut got the ball I thought Bollox here comes a goal, Bazanu let in 4 but could have Been 5 he’s pathetic, why don’t the people running the show see it? The youngster who came on at the end is class, play him every week, he’s full of it

That’s entertainment on 11:23 - Aug 13 with 2788 views | barry_sanchez | Because the hierarchy is talentless, the selling of our best players is obvious as its a simple money grab but not to adequately replace them is criminal, our defence and goalkeepers have been shit for years and yet nothing has been done that is a positive, they can paint it anyway they want but those centre backs and goal keeper are shite, total shite.

That's all anyone on here can seem to do: Meh, it's not fair we should buy <insert any random name here> so much better than we have. We never see any entertainment at St Marys, oh to see some goals. Boo, we should not be conceding 4 to Norwich, blah blah blah (self entitled feckers) Miserable bunch of feckers and glad I never had to be in the trenches with any of you.

That’s entertainment on 23:02 - Aug 13 with 2577 views | saint22 | Isn’t it funny on here that so many classify pointing at what’s wrong and why we concede goals for fun as just moaning as opposed to being unhappy that it hasn’t been corrected and if it was we Might be better, you know improve, win something Nowt wrong with wanting to succeed
That’s entertainment on 23:18 - Aug 13 with 2566 views | SFC_Referee | How can you blame Bazunu for any of those goals though? As none of them were his fault, and as we’ve said on other threads, unless you’ve got Neuer, Couture, Buffon etc… in goal then no keeper would be saving any of these 4 goals, let alone one that would be playing for us in the championship! As yeah he made mistakes last season and has in the pre session Friendlies, but so far this season he’s not made any, and did pull off a cracking save when they had that 3v1 attack with just Jan back. As we’ve got many positions we need to improve on a lot more important than the goalie right now

That’s entertainment on 07:20 - Aug 14 with 2485 views | cocklebreath | Rubbish. Did you see his parry for the disallowed goal? He made one save so 5 conceded from 6 shots on target this season. He’s awful and I think it’s our biggest problem
