Holy crap. Pathetic and listless for 65', and then we wake up and look like 10 new guys suddenly arrived.

First away game, plenty to work on, plenty to look forwards to.

Half a dozen new players to bed in with more to come. Several on the bench who will become first teamers. New manager, new system, loads of damage to undo from the previous incumbent.

It will take more than two games.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Too early to judge, but very uninspiring from Duff. He looks to have brought quality players in, but I can’t really see what he’s trying to do. The back three seem close together, the midfield got completely overrun and the strikers are isolated.

I’m sure he’ll get it right, but he’s talked a good game and not followed up on the pitch so far.

If we are to mention the previous manager, then conversely damage is being done by the current manager to change it. First loss since March and at the hands of the new manager.

Time has to be given.

I have yet to see what the plan is despite us being better on attacking set pieces.
I think that Duff needs to see that a back 4 is a necessity with what we have in hand as a group of players especially defensively.

Worrying that he said we held the ball for the sake of it today given I didn't see us string more than half a dozen passes together in one play.
I just don't hope we have the opposite to Martin, a guy who will just do abything possible to not keep some of the style we played last season.

It's still early, I can see solutions but I also have a few red sirens going off in places.

Who is blaming him for today?

Duff wants the players to play a certain way. It will take time to kick them out of the habit of playing a different way. It's not a blame game. Just a reality.

Spot on Mr Haynes, the team showed an excellent attitude to fight back which bodes well, its gonna take time of course, no getting away from how awful we were for 60 odd minutes though, but the desire and guts to fight back was more than encouraging for a simpleton like me at least

if you're bringing that up then I'll remind people Martin had the exact same start, 1 draw, 1 defeat. Maybe people shouldn't be judging until Duff has had a fair chance.

Martin had a lot longer with people sticking up for him even during the 3 wins in 21 run so maybe people should wind their necks in and be fair.

I think if we are mid-table then it may be fine overall.

The club has been unsettled since Summer 2016 - think of all the different chairmen/CEOs/director of footballs/managers we have had in recent years.
If Duff, Coleman and Watson can create some stability then we may have a chance in the coming seasons?
