Swansea City can confirm Andy Goldie will be leaving his position as academy manager.

Goldie will vacate his post on July 2, and Ryan Davies will take on the role of academy manager until further notice.

The club would like to thank Andy for his work during his time at the club and wish him well for the future.

I'm hopeful that he comes back for the riverside staff and we get replacements who can pull a pint.

Goldie would have served a months notice I’m certain, he doesn’t rank up there with those who have left recently. Mind you, just an opinion 💁🏻‍♀️

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

I like to see the academy as separate from the first team coach. The last thing we want to see is Swansea prospects being pinched of the club cheaply. Especially those now 13 -15 years old.

Swansea got Pep Clotet for the academy when Laudrup was in charge then Monk took him to the first team.

Wise sage since Toshack era
