What was it he did not do that you think he should have.? Birch is praised pillar to post but i personally know nothing about either off them. Only a club insider /employee could tell you this. He did not make any huge foul ups. Kept the club out of the papers in general.

Birch sold the club services to the BLM an organisation he clearly would have known very little about.

He appears to have come short on the January window. The ownership group came in for huge criticism from fans and manager for not signing anyone. The Ownership group claim they were not given good options by him, Marsh and Martin.

The club could have easily brought in a young kid form the national leagues as a wing back for PR purposes that Martin would not pick. The owners brought back Whittaker to cover their tracks but Martin with stunning honesty said it was nothing to do with him and their decision. Not exactly a tight ship.

I hope Southampton know what they are getting.

Well in fairness, the silence has been deafening from the club about the situation or both Winters and Marsh, we've virtually heard nothing from Winter for months does anyone know what he actually did at the club or what his achievements were, somebody mentioned the invisible man earlier, very apt that was.

This forum have done some writeups on him for balance, but nothing from him or the club.

Yes but Birch was brilliant. It some sort of perception planted in the public eye that people latch on to and hope they will not be questioned on it.
