I’ve remembered a useful tactic from the anals of the legendary Neasden F C.
As I recall, 5 players would form a wall on the goaline with 5 more on their shoulders.
The remaining player, midfield dynamo Baldy Pevsner, did all the rest.
At the foot of the column was a stop press late result, Neasden losing 1-0. Scorer Pevsner (og).
Made me laugh then.. probably cry now!
