Last time I was in the centre of Newport was 2004 and it was rough as fork. However I think the centre of Swansea is now exactly the same. Although SA1 and Marina is nice.

I’m still waiting for an answer on the Liverpool thing.
In the meantime here are two people from Liverpool directly related to my wife who is also from Liverpool who were remembered at their funeral yesterday. They died on January 2nd in a helicopter crash in Australia. This picture was taken at the last home game. They don’t fit the remit of this thread. And I’m leaving it open as this website is here for one reason only and it isn’t for this.

I mentioned last time I was in Newport it was rough. That was 19 years ago and I did say the centre of Swansea was also the same.

Our best longest term friends live in Crosby although originally from Bootle
I know of no finer people and trust them totally
They’ve had the run of our house and looked after our kids when young

My parents got to hate living in south Wales as they did all their90 plus lives
My mum didn’t have the confidence to move to our neckof the woods which she loved
Even when my father became intolerable she couldn’t get on the train to get here due to her spirit having been crushed
I still have family there but never go back willingly | |
