Call me quaint and old fashioned but I do believe this is a smokescreen to detract from the bullies, racists and misogynists that habitat the current WRU board. Just an opinion.

The WRFU have gone woke it is just a song what other songs are they going to ban?
Are they going to ban the men of Harlech because it contains the line " we wave the flag of Suprmacy" Another song hym and arias has the line " we went down to soho, scantily clad women but Will knew what she wanted "
Its an awful song but its hardly a priority for the WRU is it. Making the WRU a safe place for women to work without fear of being harassed, bullied and then silenced would be a better start.
The most formidable weapon against errors of every kind is reason.
The Welsh walking football squads got on stage after a tournament in Copenhagen last year and belted it out to a standing ovation from all the nations attending. It's great to have a song that will stretch your lungs.

DV happens due to (mostly) inadequate men who drink too much and think it is fine to cowardly beat up their partner. . These type of men do it all year round, they simply do it during the 6 Nations. In 20 years I have never dealt with a DV case which has only happened during the rugby.
It is nothing to do with 'egg chasing' as you put it

The WRU response is to ban a song, with all that they could do they opt to do this first in isolation of anything meaningful to their organisational culture.
Of course the WRU should look first at the alcohol supply in the stadium rather than a fictitious song. Fighting, kids being puked over, idiots running on the pitch. As well as the constant getting up and down of the seats disturbing punters, who want to actually watch the match. AHH! but that would of course interfere with their revenue stream! Maybe they should replace Delilah with a bit Johnny Cash, playing the White Album backwards or reciting Poe and Stephen King....there would be absolute mayhem with no one left alive surely. The WRU have recently also been accused of bullying the four regions over an agreement as well as more published accusations. However now want to ban a song which probably most supporters in the crowd have no real idea what it's about but just enjoy a good sing song. Anyway this is a great version. 🎸
