Cameron Congreve 18:34 - Jan 4 with 2401 views | TheAlpineShrew | With Plymouth seemingly having done a great job with Morgan Whittaker, and them now in need of a replacement number 10, why didn't we send young Congreve out to get a half a season playing at a good level in a confident team?
Cameron Congreve on 18:57 - Jan 4 with 2347 views | Boundy | Good call, the Club have invested heavily in him and he has the stature and ability so why not

Cameron Congreve on 19:45 - Jan 4 with 2254 views | union_jack | Mmmmm, big shoes to fill. Can Congreve do what MW did and if not will the crowd not give him the support he needs to boost his confidence. Expectations and all that.

Cameron Congreve on 20:16 - Jan 4 with 2220 views | Boundy | You could say that about any youngster I suppose, but Congreave although not exactly prolific when he's come for us , except for that one brain freeze, showed he was capable and was flying in the U21s but a like for like comparison is difficult

Cameron Congreve on 20:41 - Jan 4 with 2143 views | swan65split | I stated that we should try him in another role, if hes good enough, age is no barrier, Robbie Charlo, and Ben managed it no problem.
Cameron Congreve on 21:19 - Jan 4 with 2071 views | max936 | Will they be happy to take him after us calling Witts back?
| |
Cameron Congreve on 21:29 - Jan 4 with 2055 views | union_jack | Im sure they will but I’m more concerned he’s not going to be a direct replacement in terms of his goal tally. The crowd may expect more and get to him affecting his confidence.
| |
Cameron Congreve on 21:33 - Jan 4 with 2049 views | max936 | Not sure much was expected from Morgan, but he knuckled down and the credits followed, Cameron could well do the same, sink or swim time perhaps, although he's always looked promising when I've watched him, so there's definitely a player there.

Cameron Congreve on 22:26 - Jan 4 with 1957 views | union_jack | I don’t suppose much was expected from MW which is my point. Congreve will be compared with him from the start which will be pressure for him. May indeed be a good thing.

Cameron Congreve on 13:21 - Jan 5 with 1709 views | ReslovenSwan1 | Would Swansea take a player from Wolves again? I think they would. They treated Swansea far worse than Swansea treated Plymouth. If a loan player plays brilliantly he is more likely to get recalled or sold. It is just the way it is. In Swansea case another Morgan (Gibbs White) arrived in August played four games got injured. Swansea spent 5 month getting him fit only for him to be recalled to the first team squad where he played a few games. They sent him to Sheff utd the following season. You have to take the rough with the smooth I suppose.

Cameron Congreve on 13:30 - Jan 5 with 1699 views | ReslovenSwan1 | Yes I forgot about him. Proves the point. Plymouth have done well with Swansea players. Even Garrick had the season of his life last season and has since lost his way again. 50 games 7 goals 8 assists as forward winger and wing back.

Cameron Congreve on 13:35 - Jan 5 with 1689 views | STID2017 | I agree that Plymouth would look at the player and the terms. There is always a danger that a player can be recalled. Goes with the territory surely ?
