Jury Service 16:32 - Dec 19 with 7241 viewsMrSwerve

I've managed to avoid it somehow until the ripe old age of 35, but I've been called up to do jury service in January next year. I've looked at some of the instructions that they send through, but I was just wondering if anyone had any advice or tips (or generally interesting stories!)? *looks over to Sirjohn*

How smart do you need to dress these days? I always assumed it would be formal, however I'm not sure if that is the case these days? I.e. would jeans be acceptable, for example? (Not that I would wear them to court, just curious).

I got a bus as I don't live too far from town but I remember others saying they had a job parking. There is a car park at the National pool but I am sure someone here can give you options.

I'm wise beyond my years...

Thanks everyone for the insight! Parking at Swansea Crown Court would also be interesting to hear about.

Yes I seem to remember someone saying they had managed to park in that area. It was pay and display and they were claiming it back.

Just a point on the machines there ( and elsewhere)
Dont assume because the machine is black it is not working.
After a while they enter sleep mode.
I parked there earlier this year.
Was just about to walk out and leave my car there.
Some workers from Guildhall came out to their cars, so I asked them if parking was free.
One of them woke the machine up.
Said it was common
