Rochdale v Salford 12:31 - Oct 11 with 6478 viewsdiver

I see that rearranged game against Salford is to be on Tuesday November 8th.Neither Dale or Salford have a game on Saturday November 5th is it a league ruling that all rearranged games have to be played on a weekday night? The last game we played against Salford was on a Tuesday night with a low attendance so this will cost the club money.

I'd love a non-league away day anywhere but South Shields!

I went watching them when I lived in the North East and I'd hate us to play them.

Shame as there's some great pubs and a cracking time warp of a hotel on the coast.

Of those that were once league opponents which were the best and worse for an away day?

Halifax would be ace. Easy to get to and a fab selection of pubs.

Worst? Barnet, Dagenham and Yeovil. All miserable places.

If we were drawn at York I’d probably go for the weekend to be honest, never mind for a day.
Anyone know if the trains are on strike that weekend though?

No, but if they were, and you're staying over, go by car!

I know, the new stadium is a lot further from the city centre than Bootham Crescent which was within reasonable walking distance from the railway station.

The No. 9 shuttle bus/ park & ride to Monk's Cross leaves from directly across the road from the train station and takes about 15 minutes. Drops you a 5 minute walk from the ground which is hidden between a giant cinema and a leisure centre.

I know, I went there several times.

Given that the chance of this tie happening is 1/158 before the draw is made, it's probably best to wait until tomorrow night before making plans.

I've just had to look up where Needham Market is (just north of Ipswich). They make good beer in Suffolk, so a trip down there would be more than acceptable...
