Swansea City v Sheffield United : Matchday Thread 22/23 on 00:18 - Sep 14 with 1670 views | Treforys_Jack | Edit, watched it from a different angle, never ever a foul on Naughton. I like Kyle, think he's our most complete defender, however that was poor for someone of his experience and he'll know that himself.
Swansea City v Sheffield United : Matchday Thread 22/23 on 01:20 - Sep 14 with 1597 views | Badlands | Naughton should not have been in that predicament. Martin pushed everyone else forward, crowding the goal and exposing us to the breakaway. Pub club level.

Swansea City v Sheffield United : Matchday Thread 22/23 on 07:43 - Sep 14 with 1451 views | RichardO | The last home game we had a free kick in the middle of the oppositions half, Naughton was left one on one again against a fast striker and another player, Wood and Cabango pressed forward to add height in the box and Manning also pushed on,it was only after screaming communication from Naughton that we managed to get numbers back. Again last night we didn't get numbers back to assist Naughton who we know lacks the pace to deal with a fast forward, he even had a large head start on the forward, as he had dropped back quite some way. Cabango and Wood went up for corner and Manning took it, I think, surely it is then up to the players on the pitch to make sure there is cover, given Naughton's lack of pace but ultimately it is up to the manager that the players are aware of strengths and weaknesses of the team at vital moments.
Swansea City v Sheffield United : Matchday Thread 22/23 on 08:39 - Sep 14 with 1375 views | Johnw102 | Should not have been in the position of being 1 - 1 against someone with the pace of Brewster at the end of a game.

Swansea City v Sheffield United : Matchday Thread 22/23 on 09:15 - Sep 14 with 1329 views | Boundy | As long as Martin continues to hear the N E corner singing his name he's going to feel secure , he came on the pitch to confront the officials who rightly or wrongly allowed the goal to stand , that to me masked the real issue he has of not being able to instruct the team to see out the game. A point even at home would have been decent , we had them on the ropes but making poor decisions summed up the nights efforts , we were never going to score.

Swansea City v Sheffield United : Matchday Thread 22/23 on 09:19 - Sep 14 with 1320 views | onehunglow | Naughton should not be in the club let alone the team What pace he had has long gone and he was a full back never a CH as he doesnt have the strength. Sheff Utd had pace;against Naughton there is only one winner. The whole game management is just skewed.

Swansea City v Sheffield United : Matchday Thread 22/23 on 09:43 - Sep 14 with 1291 views | lifelong | When our top goal scorer missed 3 golden chances, 1 being a sitter and our second goal scorer is not on the pitch for whatever reason, you are probably correct.

Swansea City v Sheffield United : Matchday Thread 22/23 on 09:53 - Sep 14 with 1274 views | krunchykarrot | Yeh i agree with that, a fantastic footballer for us but will now always get exposed against pace. What a good pro like him was doing there i dont know should have taken the RED. To be fair though in my balanced view we still should have won 2-1 Piroe should have scored which is worrying when we have our CF sulking..
Swansea City v Sheffield United : Matchday Thread 22/23 on 10:34 - Sep 14 with 1221 views | fbreath | I could hear the OH NO from people around me as the 4 minutes was shown for extra time and everyone was waiting for the inevitable and they didn't disappoint. Unreal that it keeps happening.

Swansea City v Sheffield United : Matchday Thread 22/23 on 10:57 - Sep 14 with 1200 views | Boundy | I did say during the match at half time it was going to be one goal to win it, and the more chances we squandered the more likely that was going to happen , their defence wasn't great and the times we opened them up and either took the wrong option or totally missed the targets was criminal. They knew they got out of jail meanwhile we fell into the dungeon of failure ( again)

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Swansea qaQ1q@ qACity v Sheffield United : Matchday Thread 22/23 on 17:20 - Sep 14 with 913 views | onehunglow | You’re confusing yourself again It was I who basically hated him from the start ,at least from that Preston game Martin is full of shite I You have called many posters all sorts with whom you now agree Humble pie Eddie .Apologise vetch is a good sort and doesn’t deserve that

Swansea qaQ1q@ qACity v Sheffield United : Matchday Thread 22/23 on 18:02 - Sep 14 with 898 views | shingle | Well the facts are he was far more clued up to the ability of Martin as a manager than you, he said the guy was poor from the start and you dilly dallied for at least a year or so and now that we are in quite a pickle and a point above the relegation tone you have changed your tone.
Swansea qaQ1q@ qACity v Sheffield United : Matchday Thread 22/23 on 19:10 - Sep 14 with 851 views | Treforys_Jack | No-one knew if he was going to adapt, evolve or simply learn any bloody lessons. My own patience frayed around Xmas / NY and was gone completely by about February.

Swansea qaQ1q@ qACity v Sheffield United : Matchday Thread 22/23 on 19:47 - Sep 14 with 815 views | vetchonian | thanks for that OHL bits it's ok....it just proves what some ir our super fans are like.... I gave Martin some time but couldn't understand how posters on here were stating things were so much better under Martin yet the Millwall and Sheffield Unired games home this time last year were awful...in fairness last night was an improvement on the same fixture last season shame Piroe is off form. We are all entitled to an opinion yet those of us who were critical from early doors took lots of stick....some of us were ridiculed for thinking our squad was top 6 potential and now it seems those same folk have turned. If any are a joke its them.....they have shown they have no idea about football managers

Swansea qaQ1q@ qACity v Sheffield United : Matchday Thread 22/23 on 20:21 - Sep 14 with 785 views | onehunglow | Vetch No need to thank me.If I disagree with you or find you insulting others or posting contentious filthy I ll call it as such. I have never ever read you insulting anyone even when The Crew are all over you. I'm not as nice as you and not as forgiving so I understand builth, lifey, fireboy, trampie, all crawling over each other to cast the stones. Sadly AC is gone as is the case with Keroac whose opinions I often disagreed with .Too many on here cannot and will not let byhgones be and at a time when our club is in real trouble with a feckless board pf owners and a clown for a coach, who we were implored less than 3 months ago to TRUST and to give him time, more time to do his stuff and make us a PROPER club,a phrase that should have instantly seen him out,but no.,excuses made Now the truth is what I saw over 12 months ago. I was dreading being proven correct on every score...Naughton=liability,Grimes= deadly in all the wrong ways,Benda=treated appallingly and not a word of protest from the fans who profess their "support" and loyalty every day. Kids brought in on loan and experienced pros and young prospects dumped ruthlessly in favour of a coach's favourites. His love of Fisher was and is shameful and it has ,is and will cost us.

Swansea qaQ1q@ qACity v Sheffield United : Matchday Thread 22/23 on 20:37 - Sep 14 with 762 views | Catullus | We had no evidence either way in the very beginning, apart from his record at MKD and many accepted he was still learning. I gave him a chance and like most people I wanted him to succeed because him failing means the team failing. He has learned some lessons, some still to learn. What has surprised me now is, we have clearly improved in the last 2 games but people who were big fans are now against him. Last night was disappointing but as games go, it wasn't a bad performance and it was entertaining.

Swansea qaQ1q@ qACity v Sheffield United : Matchday Thread 22/23 on 20:48 - Sep 14 with 745 views | vetchonian | yes it is amazing how his most fervent supporters now are calling vociferously for his sacking and stating how we are capable of a playoff challenge yet ...until recently were "attacking " others who dared criticise the "messiah" Martin. Shame he hadnt changed tack a long time ago

Swansea qaQ1q@ qACity v Sheffield United : Matchday Thread 22/23 on 20:51 - Sep 14 with 738 views | onehunglow | You need to read what others post and not jump to conclusions and not go down the route of making out you are smarter than anyone else.
