Ryan Bennett ? 19:54 - Aug 27 with 7796 views | KeithHaynes | Regardless of his ability or whatever, why would a club pay him 80k a month plus and not play him. And how does the manager justify this financial loss ?

Ryan Bennett ? on 19:58 - Aug 27 with 4022 views | QJumpingJack | He is not a bad defender. Just a player who is low in confidence. And Martin should be doing everything to get him into the right place to play (unless our owners don't want to pay more money in loyalty bonus)
Ryan Bennett ? on 20:02 - Aug 27 with 4005 views | jasper_T | If one more appearance means he gets £80k a month for another year on top?
Ryan Bennett ? on 20:11 - Aug 27 with 3975 views | magicdaps10 | Appearance fee might be quite hefty aswell Plus the win bonus. Just a guess though.
| |
Ryan Bennett ? on 20:17 - Aug 27 with 3953 views | AguycalledJack | No need to worry about the win bonus.
Ryan Bennett ? on 20:22 - Aug 27 with 3930 views | magicdaps10 | 😂😂 Thought exactly the same after I posted it. Saying that, Bennett is the messiah to some and things would have been so different with him involved.

Ryan Bennett ? on 20:23 - Aug 27 with 3919 views | KeithHaynes | You could be right, lose 80k to make 80k. I blame Cooper for that.
| |
Ryan Bennett ? on 20:26 - Aug 27 with 3901 views | vetchonian | sorry the blame for things like this rest with the CEO sorry Keith but the CEO would have final say in these matters.....independent my arse as Jim Royal would say
| |
Ryan Bennett ? on 20:36 - Aug 27 with 3857 views | DwightYorkeSuperstar | Do you genuinely think Cooper and now Martin handle contract negotiations?
| |
Ryan Bennett ? on 20:38 - Aug 27 with 3850 views | KeithHaynes | No but I genuinely believe Martin dropped Bennet and it all seems ok.
| |
Ryan Bennett ? on 20:39 - Aug 27 with 3838 views | KeithHaynes | Independent ? Your point ? That’s my view not the website. So the ceo decided that Bennet could be dropped in March or whenever that was and approved it ?

Ryan Bennett ? on 20:46 - Aug 27 with 3804 views | vetchonian | At the end of the day it is the CEO that finalises financial deals yet you blame Cooper....Martin last week told us there was no more money yet he went out and bought central defenders even though we have some cover there and benched one today...whilst we can all see other areas which need filling and these were ignored

Ryan Bennett ? on 20:48 - Aug 27 with 3790 views | onehunglow | I agree with you Keith but I dont undertand some of the tenor of your posts, frankly. Bennett has had his career killed off in brutal fashion.Only an utter shttte deserves that and he isnt and doesnt What we really should do is bring home the loanees as they were nobbed off before any replacements at all

Ryan Bennett ? on 20:51 - Aug 27 with 3791 views | KeithHaynes | I’m not sure you get the point. Read the OP !

Ryan Bennett ? on 20:55 - Aug 27 with 3770 views | KeithHaynes | Problem is Cullen is still here because NOBODY wanted him.
| |
Ryan Bennett ? on 21:05 - Aug 27 with 3728 views | onehunglow | Bennett is still here ;he could do a job Grimes was not wanted as was the case with Naughton but they are still here, strolling around the field when we are losing .

Ryan Bennett ? on 21:06 - Aug 27 with 3735 views | Whiterockin | I heard 50 games equates to a £250K bonus and an automatic 12 month extension. How much truth in that I don't know. EDIT To clarify I meant Bennett [Post edited 27 Aug 2022 21:10]

Ryan Bennett ? on 21:09 - Aug 27 with 3718 views | KeithHaynes | I don’t know why I even bother at times. Not you WR.

Ryan Bennett ? on 21:12 - Aug 27 with 3691 views | KeithHaynes | You are possibly right is my point, but my next post wasn’t aimed at you.

Ryan Bennett ? on 23:33 - Aug 27 with 3509 views | KeithHaynes | Are you seriously asking me that question ?
| |
Ryan Bennett ? on 23:36 - Aug 27 with 3487 views | Brynmill_Jack | I think Martin has no man management skills - can’t handle an experienced older pro who might tell him he’s full of sh*t.

Ryan Bennett ? on 23:38 - Aug 27 with 3474 views | KeithHaynes | Well at least you got my point 🙠

Ryan Bennett ? on 23:54 - Aug 27 with 3440 views | DwightYorkeSuperstar | You said you blamed Steve Cooper when replying to Japser's comment regarding a potential appearance based automatic extension clause in Bennett's contract. That's why I asked if you believe the head coach handles contract negotiations.

Ryan Bennett ? on 23:55 - Aug 27 with 3440 views | ReslovenSwan1 | Bennetts' problem is them money he is paid. The Rodon money The club will just have to subsidise his wages somewhere else. (probably a relegation rival). It was envisaged that this experienced player was an automatic pick and the extra year would not be an issue. Routledge was given a deal by the club Cooper did not agree with but compromised. Martin cannot use him or Fulton or Garrick or Joseph or Whittaker or Benda or quite a few others. He has not dealt with the cards he has been given. If he argues that the players are not suitable then he needs to get there gradually over 5 or 6 transfer window while easing out unsuitable players while using them. (sweating the assets) It is the CBR principle . Big Courtney was not a Swansea type player but he grafted and was strong for Potter. Cooper drummed him out after 10 minutes of a pre season friendly at Exeter city and persuaded the club to pay both Borja and Ayew with the OMcB transfer money. Winter has a a few days to get Bennett out of the club or he will be gardening for 6 month on £80k an month. Bloody expensive tomatoes. [Post edited 27 Aug 2022 23:56]

Ryan Bennett ? on 00:01 - Aug 28 with 3415 views | ReslovenSwan1 | Winter would show Cooper the deal he proposed to offer Bennett. He would ask Cooper if he saw Bennett as an automatic pick for up to four seasons and be the clubs best earner behind Ayew. A 3 year plus 1. Cooper clearly gave it his blessing.
