I ( like many ) try to enjoy each game and of course at the start of a new season am optimistic about our future ( life has thrown me too many curve balls to be constantly critical like you and OHl ).
Yesterday was an awful performance for which the manager and team must all take responsibility.

I noted some flaws in his game plan and tactical approach if that’s what you mean? But very much hoped he would turn it around and learn. I advocated for him for months until it was clear his ego was out of control and knowledge of the game extremely limited.
I maintained that position until around Feb time where I could see there was no hope there and then advocated for change with you telling me I was wrong and being negative.
You now finally agree with me.

Piroe has been torn apart and his great work last year destroyed by Martin's boys ,like Grimes ,Naughton,Fisher.Yep,Naughton the great. A player who WALKS through games and passes backwards in extra time when we are looking for a wnner.

that's the problem on here debate on football is clouded by the division in our fans
we will never always share the same views on players managers etc but the one thing that should unite us is our love for the Swans which is questioned by some of others.
we are now in difficult times as I believe we will continue to flounder as managers have worked us out and our manager refuses to change.....there is an adage change the person or change the person.....if that person isn't going to change then maybe we have to bite the bullet and change him

Because he's obviously stubborn.
I and alot of others (who don't post on here) have given him plenty of time but now its wearing thin.

It is a bit harsh to blame Naughton for having to play backwards. Numerous times he was given the ball only for eveyone in front of him to become statues.
The same thing happened over snd over again to both him and Darling, it must've been infuriating.
You can see we still have a pretty good group of players and some of the play during our 10 minute purple patch was fantastic.
The next 2 games will decide it for me, if we are just as bereft of ideas, impetus snd movement. I think it will be time to move on. | |

I explained why i thought the excessive criticism was harsh. He constantly got given the ball only for nobody in fromt of him to show for it or move into space. The same as Darling.
Did he play well, no. But he was nowhere near the worst out there.
If our form continues and Martin goes I would expect a new manager would find Naughton equally as important to the side. | |
