He had no pre season and had been out of training before that in a contract dispute. Hopefully with a full pre-season he will get back into the groove he was at Celtic. No reason why he should not unless his professionalism is not up to scratch and there are no indications of that.

When it comes down to match fitness surely there can be no excuses this coming season. Martin used fitness as a "reason" several times last season, he has no such luxury any more.
Ntcham needs to be fitter but what if he can't get fitter? Does he has any health problem that holds him back? Are we going to discover he's another Ray Kennedy? Struck down by illness that maybe he doesn't yet know he has. | |
