Where is he going to get 15 goals from though, why did he not score in the last 3 months of the Premier League season ? Was it because defenders worked him out, Broja hustlesand bustles, but all his goals were scored in the same manner, right foot shot after barging past a defender.
There is not enough variety in his game for him to be a truly Premier League Superstar.
Shane Long in his heyday used to get stick for only scoring 6-8 goals a season

Broja £58 million To Everton on 12:20 - Jun 9 with 3369 views
I have previously acknowledged that at times he looked like he didn’t give a toss, particularly towards the end of the season.
I don’t think his goal at Spurs away was after charging past a defender; a smart one-touch finish.
One crucial thing about him is that his goals were often match-winners, or part of a victory by 1 goal (eg Spurs away). It is important to have players that make vital contributions, and he does that. We will really miss that next season.
Properly coached, he has all the attributes to be a really top striker. Andy Carroll and Shane Long were never anywhere near this.
The other thing with having a “hustle and bustle” type striker with pace (though he also has a lot of skill) is that defences often drop deeper to combat this, enabling us to play higher up the pitch.
So it’s not just about the goals he scores or directly creates.
I think if Everton spend £58 million on him, it will be money wisely invested.
That’s an awful lot of money to spend on potential. We did Chelsea a massive favour there (perhaps we should ask for a few quid for showcasing him for them). Interesting then they they are happy to sell him.

I reckon the situation at Chelsea affected him . Anybody can see he has the ability to score superb goals and I I said before he will play for a big club in England or Europe at some point. Definitely good enough. Maybe you should look at the goals he scored for Albania too Nick .
Transfermarkt has his value at around £16-17 million, a year ago no one had heard of him and he had had an ok season in the Dutch league, 10 goals in 21 starts and 11 appearances as sub.
Funnily enough his season went very similar to his one at Saints , he scored just one in the last 10 games for Vitesse.
So a few goals here and there say potential, but 6 goals in 30 games for Saints says that potential is far from being reached.
I may be wrong , Chelsea probably see the likes of Newcastle & Everton as silly enough to pay £50 million and are now trying to big up Broja, but truth is he hasn't produced the goods yet, he might well do
Internationally he doesnt feature much for Albania, of 12 times in the squad just 6 starts and 6 subbed in with 3 goals,

Yes and what cracking goals they were too I guess you haven’t seen the Albania ones . In the pub after games towards the end of the season everyone was saying how disinterested he had become surely you could see that ?
So you don’t think our terrible run of form was down to anyone else but Broja not scoring in the last few months of the season? Defenders worked him out about as much as other teams worked out once plan A didn’t work, our manager wouldn’t have a clue what to do thereafter.

Back to my "football is broken" comment. Average young player being sold for £58m? F**k off. Ridiculous.
Shearer - obvious talent, scoring 1 in 3 roughly in the top flight for a couple of years. £3m or so.
Rooney - obvious talent, scoring 1 in 4 in the top flight, £20m or so for an 18 year old.
Broja - average in an average team, 6 goals. £58m. Had he scored 6-9 goals a season for 3 or 4 years, maybe that inflation would be right, but, 1 season, 6 goals.
This is how strange supporting this club is, the fans idolise a player who only gets 6 goals, say he was disinterested and that was the reason why his form drops off
Yet slag off one of their own players who was running his boll**ks off during the tough times.
Prhaps the fact that he could run around disinterested for a dozen games and not feel he was cheating the club tells us a lot about him and whether he has what it takes in terms of application and attitude to actually become the top class player that some say he will be
Who stole a wage from this club last season Shane Long or Armando Broja

Whats he meant to do when the permeant players at the club down tools. Lets be honest those poor performance's came from the senior players who rule the dressing room. Not the young lad who is on loan.
Im not sure why you have it in for Broja - hes a decent young prospect.
