Desperate for some of these. Can people post all the links etc they come across? I'd take clickbait, I don't care, I just want some excitement to go with Ian's arrival.
Not sure there are any League One or Two sides who do anything other than free transfers so chances of getting cash for Bonne is remote to say the least.
Maybe Niko’s agent could come up with something he seems to have the Midas touch.

There's some media chatter/speculation that Bonne could be on his way back to Ipswich. I even had an Ipswich supporting mate contact me about it. It's what he wants and it would free up funds to bring in a loan striker. I'm hoping this is true.

Yernited have seller's remorse after comparing the performances of De Gea and Henderson, and want Begovic from (checks list) Everton. As they also need a striker, how about Seny for £80m (plus add-ons)?

See what you're saying, but the way Beale plays he'll want Roberts as part of the 3 or up front depending on the opposition, Dykes is struggling and Armstrong is a last 30 minute not-so-secret weapon mainly, I think at this stage anyway. So another one up front would be very welcome.
The problem is I think he'd also love to have another option in the DM role.

Apparently Everton were looking to solve their striker problem by buying Che Adams from Southampton. If they’re interested in Scottish international strikers perhaps we could tempt them with our one?

Shame that they weren't after Willock; we may have e en got that sort of money, which would have sorted the finances out for a few years instead of the brazsic world we have to live in...
I'd like to think that a fresh start with Beale would lead to Bonne improving.
I know, I'm a hopeless dreamer

It is strange with Bonne. He was good in pre-season. Sharp, aggressive. His cameo against Boro was excellent. I actually think he is a better technical player than Dykes but it does appear they will let him go. I think he is better than we give him credit for, but I think his heart belongs to Ipswich.
It goes without saying but I hope there are one or two options lined up should we let Bonne go. Even though Roberts can play as the striker, I think Bonne will need replacing. But who knows who that replacement might be?

If we do sell - or raffle - him, we fans should club together to have a statute created in his honour.
I think a linesman holding a flag aloft would be appropriate.
In fact, I should think the Championship linos will breathe a collective sigh of relief if we do offload him to a club in another division. Bonne's poorly timed runs must have been giving them repetitive strain injuries.

As you know how Beale likes to play, any chance you’re around at 2pm tomorrow? Venue being Loftus Rd home changing room. Cos from what I watched the other night the players don’t have a clue. Either that or the tactics are/were whack. I say were, as he talks today of a formation change. Hope that he learnt having everybody bar the full backs in the middle 3rd length wise doesn’t really work. Hope he didn’t read that tactic in an elite football journal….and praying to god that he’s a novice learning his trade as a manager, getting to know the players and once he cracks it (hopefully soon) all his previous coaching experience will pay dividends. The flip is he’s full of…and an arrogant so n so to boot. Wishing him and us it’s the former, cos we know these players ain’t as bad as this with the right tactics in the right formation

We were far better than this, even in the 2nd half of the season. Even in the really bad games I was always hopeful that we could get a goal, we never stopped creating chances. Tbf we did alright at Sunderland in that respect - 3 chances created that should have been goals and 2 in the first half the other night, but I just can’t see a pattern of play. Too often players get the ball in midfield, turn and their team mates are stood next to them, there’s no safe outlet. Our shape is awful

Always hoped Bonne would improve with our coaching team and got the logic of playing him with Dykes as likes to play off the shoulder and run-in behind but I watched him closely at Crawley and was stupidly offside when there was no need to be,
However clinching moment for me was 2nd Half at Charlton, right in front of us, on left-hand side of the penalty area he tried to beat him man on the outside on his favoured right foot to get a shot off (similar to how Shodipo did in last minute) and he was so painfully slow moving the ball it was like that Conor Washington moment when you just know he's playing a league above his level.
