I have no issue with people voting Tory. I’ve voted Tory on one occasion before (mainly as my area would vote in a rag on a stick if they wore a blue rosette and my MP was/is actually a good representative imo and deserved my support).

There’s no doubt the public sector is completely bloated and isn’t really giving good value for money for the taxpayers but there has to be a plan in place for anyone affected to not be chucked on the scrap heap or for whole communities to be ruined like when they closed the mines. It’s seems like those celebrating think that civil servants are those Sir Humphrey Appleby types, where in reality well over half the civil servants are either in the prison service, job centres or HMRC.
