Malcolm Ebiowei (18) - McCallum had him in his pocket 1st half, 2nd half he couldn't get anywhere near him, looks a tidy player.

Liam Thompson (19) was one of their best players on the park for me, a defensive midfielder who looks so comfortable on the ball.

Festy Ebosole (19) didn't play today, but remember him being a tricky winger at their gaff.

The first one maybe. The second one would not be as good as Field for me, in that position.

Ebosele joined Udinese so will presumably be at Watford next season. Ebiowei is out of contract I think and has a lot of interest from the top flight (although I absolutely would take him, had a great second half)

I'll throw in Eiran Cashin the centre back though, left footed and can pick a pass. Maybe a long term project for us as Barbet can't play forever

You’ll have to prize the third one away from Siera A and his five year contract playing over there

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

Always liked Byrne, their right wing back / full back...

Can we go out yet?

Thompson was excellent. Played left side, right side and then central midfield. Didn't put a foot wrong. He was Thomas on steroids

Ooops hadn't realised that. Liam Thompson would improve our squad and lower that average age at the same time

Cashin was very impressive IMO. Only 20 and Irish.

Hopefully Masterson is doing enough at Gillingham to get recalled to the squad next season, hearing good things and he's getting experience of playing in a back 3.

Not sure if Dickie, Dunne and Masterson are the fastest though so if Cashin is quick too he may be worth a look. Assuming Barbet is off and Sanderson is not for sale. Ipswich had a couple of young defenders that looked quick and decent

Malcolm is featured in this series along with Eze, thought he was superb

Cashin saved Derby from conceding on at least three occasions

Agree with you re Byrne - good replacement for Albert/Kakay.

It's always noisiest at the shallow end

Apparently his nickname is ‘The Attic’ so would fit nicely with the Loft.
