Overall a really good season with consistent performances in all formats. Wells has been my player of the season with him making consistent contributions in all formats. His white ball leg spin has been really useful. Jennings has played well and should be in contention to tour with England this winter. With injuries and international call ups the depth of the squad has improved.
It will be interesting to see what happens to Croft and Vilas as there have been whispers about them both retiring. There have been no real rumours about signings, although bar overseas signings I'm not sure what would be needed. Salt, Lavelle and Bell can all keep if Vilas goes and Mahmood coming back to fitness will be like a new signing. | | | |

Are fielders allowed to wear gloves?..i don't mean like the wicket keepers..but just normal gloves for protection?
Also are batsmen allowed to wear elbow protection?

A fielder is not allowed to wear gloves and if they touch the ball while wearing them the batting side are awarded 5 penalty runs. Batters do wear protective guards to cover their forearm and elbow | | | |

Also how is the nationality of a cricketer determined?,,is it where they are born or can it be like footy where the parents nationality is considered?
