You are talking emotional connection in your case but detached connection in the case of Catholics, I was not thinking in terms of Catholics killing random people of another religion because one of their own was killed I was thinking of someone's own father, mother, grandfather, grandmother, son, daughter, aunty, uncle, cousin, best friend, school mates, neighbours been killed.
