From the complete tit he made of himself when interviewed by the BBC, there was no way in the world, he was having a trial. The publicity it would have generated, would have made the OJ Simpson trial look like a sideshow. It was only a civil case so compensation would have been the ultimate result when it inevitably would've gone against him but his lawyers will be breathing a big sigh of relief plus the complainant would now not have to be cross examined.
