Middlesbrough v Swansea City : Matchday Thread 2021/22 11:06 - Dec 1 with 13263 views | NotLoyal | It’s here at last, the hardest of all hard away games in a place in the middle of the borough. The cold wind and hailstones coming in from the east. The homely inspired dentistry from a local man will determine this fixture. The Boro are gnawing away at the middle of the table just like the swans. There’s nothing in this except a good old root canal.

Middlesbrough v Swansea City : Matchday Thread 2021/22 on 15:45 - Dec 4 with 1223 views | Treforys_Jack | RM seems to have a blind spot regarding Smith, he cannot play in the same side as Grimes and Downes. What does Walsh need to do to get a run out?

Middlesbrough v Swansea City : Matchday Thread 2021/22 on 15:48 - Dec 4 with 1176 views | max936 | Apart from the first 10mins we been poor, grimes given ball away 3 or 4 times already and that appalling freekick giving the keeper catching practices. Williams in again, pressure as obviously been applied by LFC, we been poor 1st half. Was Jones offside for their goal, it looked like for me?

Middlesbrough v Swansea City : Matchday Thread 2021/22 on 15:49 - Dec 4 with 1159 views | Johnw102 | Keeper handles outside area and a couple of mins later hacks Pat down and Pat gets booked. We get nothing.

Middlesbrough v Swansea City : Matchday Thread 2021/22 on 15:52 - Dec 4 with 1107 views | Chief | Sadly Paterson had a bad touch and deliberately tripped himself over the keeper who was already down on the floor. Great call from the referee. And all the ball wasn't over the whole line when they keeper nearly handled. Frustrating but that half was our own fault. Not the refs.

Middlesbrough v Swansea City : Matchday Thread 2021/22 on 15:52 - Dec 4 with 1106 views | LittleEnglandJack | We need to stop this Rhys Williams experiment now... our goals against column with him in the side is genuinely frightening.
Middlesbrough v Swansea City : Matchday Thread 2021/22 on 15:54 - Dec 4 with 1079 views | AndyCole | . Turgid, boring stuff. Way too defensive. Ntcham for superfluous Downer (who again is a shocking waste of a midfield slot), Smith to anchor Grimes and allow our captain to push on Obafemi's time to shine and add some spark, some zip and 'score some goals for Swansea' . . .

Middlesbrough v Swansea City : Matchday Thread 2021/22 on 15:55 - Dec 4 with 1077 views | jackrabbit | What a lacklustre, half-arsed, pathetic performance so far. Everything done at half pace, much too much passing sideways and backwards in our own half, poor ball control, appalling passing accuracy (apart from the back passing), hopeless attacking play and even worse defensive play. Mediocrity personified. We’ve been abysmal. I don’t care how ‘even’ the commentators feel the game is. [Post edited 4 Dec 2021 15:57]

Middlesbrough v Swansea City : Matchday Thread 2021/22 on 16:00 - Dec 4 with 983 views | theloneranger | We've got no chance against pace when our wing backs don't defend, and our back 3 are spread across the Centre Circle. There's the freedom of the park behind them.

Middlesbrough v Swansea City : Matchday Thread 2021/22 on 16:00 - Dec 4 with 981 views | KeithHaynes | We had enough to go in winning, hitting the bar, penalty shout for handball plus the incident with Paterson. Two very decent chances in front of goal. We can easily go on and win this.

Middlesbrough v Swansea City : Matchday Thread 2021/22 on 16:03 - Dec 4 with 940 views | max936 | Can't be any worse 2nd half surely, Grimes needs to show some rare leadership for a change and ball moved forward quicker, we were pedestrian at best 1st half.

Middlesbrough v Swansea City : Matchday Thread 2021/22 on 16:03 - Dec 4 with 936 views | jojaca | Never a pen, Patterson tried to stick his leg out hoping for contact. Any football manager with bit of experience will easily work us out. We have no pace, just press us high with numbers in our own half and you will reap the rewards. I never thought I would feel the same way as Cooper's football, we are boring at times.
