Lancashire in 25-man squad on 23:25 - Sep 10 with 1789 views | pjt50 | No big deal. Saints have only named 24 anyway, so it's not like he's taking up somebody else's spot. Seeing the 25 doesn't include U-21's, there's not a remote possibility that he'll get anywhere near the first team.

Lancashire in 25-man squad on 09:23 - Sep 11 with 1583 views | dirk_doone | "it's not like he's taking up somebody else's spot" I think that's the point. Come January, with injuries to a couple of our defenders, he could well make the subs bench at least. Otherwise they wouldn't have bothered naming him in our official Premier League squad as there wouldn't have been any need to do so. Ralph has obviously seen something in him. Perhaps he combines well with his main man, Alex McCarthy, in training. [Post edited 11 Sep 2021 9:24]

Lancashire in 25-man squad on 09:55 - Sep 11 with 1545 views | SaintNick | Good points Dirk clearly it’s just about using a space that otherwise wouldn’t be used it’s actually quite funny to see the mini meltdown as if there is some plot to sell off the first team and replace them with free transfers from league two

Lancashire in 25-man squad on 10:12 - Sep 11 with 1532 views | dirk_doone | There's no pleasing some people. Posters on here have been crying out for us to get an experienced central defender and now we've got one - 108 games for Rochdale, 63 for Swindon, 57 for Walsall, 37 for Crewe, 25 for Grimsby, 21 for Shrewsbury, 15 for Aldershot! - they don't come much more experienced than that - and he could still prove to be better than Lyanco. Coincidentally, it was 13 years ago, September, 2008, that Ollie made an almost instant impact on his Saints' first team debut, getting a red card after 28 minutes in a 4-1 defeat at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium. Lancashire in 25-man squad on 12:15 - Sep 13 with 1245 views | SaintNick | If you honestly think this is part of some ongoing plot to replace our first team with 32 year olds then it is truly time to walk away from supporting the club, you have become so mistrusting of them and quick to find any fault that you can't surely get any pleasure out of it. Lancashire is here to mentor the B team, it is insane to suggest anything otherwise, we have 5 other central defenders in the squad. I cant see where Lancashire has a squad number he is not listed on either the Saints site or the Premier League's own website.
