In my world I get to call what is offensive. My judgement is sound because it has been taken to court and a man convicted. Being aggressively called a Welsh Sheepshagger in front of women and children is offensive in any location anywhere on planet earth. Men stand up for their rights. Wimps take the abuse without complaint because they think they have no choice.

You attempt to defend English people behaving in a fascist manner leads me to the conclusion that you are defending like minded people that see the Welsh as 'fair game' but taunting Pakistani Indians and Afro - Caribbeans as totally unacceptable. In law Sheepshagger and Monkey taunts are both racist at different points in the racial toxic spectrum. You either object to racism or you do not.

This practice has previously been taken to court and the perpetrator convicted of racist behaviour. The Police took it to court because the target was one of their own. Time they applied the law for the rest of us.

The way you use the term "English people " is very poor as it infers you mistrust them all.

All my family are English including grandkids and I will always pull you up on such abject drivel.
Your comments included them in the mix

The phrase I used was -

"English people behaving in a fascist manner". I am sure none of your family member behave like this. We pretty much all of us have English family these days.

I am calling out their racist behaviour and for some reason you are uncomfortable with this.

I cant help but feel you keep using the wrong descriptive words. What do you mean ''acting in a fascist manner''.

Fascism is charactarised by a suppression of political opposition with dominant regimentation of society and of the economy itself. How did he know your political stance in order to forcibly suppress it?

Do you just mean he wasn't very nice?

I am happy at my description of his activities as 'acting in a fascist manner'. Whether the words are strictly accurate requires some study and I will change it if it is proven to have been inappropriate.

Paolo de Canio' s description of himself as 'fascist' not 'racist'. What is fascist in Italian is apparently not the same in English. There is a certain 'slack' in the interpretation of the word.

It is my understanding that certain fascist regimes falsely characterised their minorities as in some way 'sub human' such that they practice deeply unsociable practices. They do this to form an homogeneous political society. They used this to justify harsh policies. I interpreted the abuser to be of this underlying philosophy.

'Not very nice' is picking your nose in public.

Shouldn’t it be change it until proven accurate?

It’s not for someone to prove they aren’t something you accuse them of, unless you have overwhelming proof. I don’t see even the slightest bit of proof that your describing someone who can be fairly described as “a fascist”.

Fascism is a political descriptive word of someone who follows the fascist ideals of suppressing their political opposition through force. It doesn’t mean someone being not very nice to you.

Yes picking your nose in public isn’t very nice either. But it would also be unlikely that someone guilty of that was a fascist too.
