Swansea submit £550,000 bid for young midfielder on 20:22 - Aug 6 with 5440 viewsblackpooljack

They should bid a bit higher, but not so high as it might be accepted that way the club can say " well at least we tried to get some quality through the door."

Seems highly thought after from Ipswich fans even though he’s handed in 2 transfer requests in 2 years.

Since then he has been ‘injured’. Has put in another transfer request since because he was stopped from moving. Has also been told to train with u23s and now has year left on contract.

Ipswich fans seem disappointed he’s leaving but believe it wasn’t his fault. He was stopped from going to Palace. And rightly/wrongly has kept pushing for a move through injury & requests. They’ve been just as bad putting him with U23 squad. So as it’s his last year & connections to the new management - then it could be a very astute signing

Such cynicism has been around for a while, before Cooper for sure. Maybe as much to do with the American owners as Cooper.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

We're missing someone who is confident enough in their own ability to collect the ball from the defence under pressure. Right now we just have Grimes, whilst Korey Smith walks aimlessly somewhere on the right wing.

You don’t think we’re missing aggression in midfield?

We started today with one midfielder suspended for three matches, whilst fortunate Grimes is also not suspended for the first three games after his horror challenge in the opening few minutes of the capitulation against Brentford.

I don't think our issue today was a lack of aggression in midfield.
