For example, Martin Luther King would never be described as “woke”.
A school banning phrases now deemed as “micro aggressions” such as praising a foreign student for their excellent English, would be described as “woke”.
Finding offence in non offensive situations.
Telling a black person they are oppressed and they are fighting for them to not have to comply with voter ID laws because it’s likely they don’t know how to use a computer or have any ID (yes people genuinely have said this). They would be called “woke”.
Finding injustice where there isn’t any.

But if that was the case then you would have to do the same with terms such as w*nker which you have openly said you don’t, with good reason. You recognise that the definition and the word when it is used aren’t in the same context.

It’s not, that’s what I just described to you.
The context it is used is when people find offence where there isn’t any, or injustice where there isn’t any, usually to further a political agenda or self gratify.
That isn’t the dictionary definition of woke though is it? Meaning it’s not used in the same context as the definition… which is why Luther King would never be labelled as “woke”. He’s almost anti-woke in terms of the context it is regularly used (not it’s dictionary definition).
Example from the Wall Street Journal, clearly showing that what Luther King stood for is often at odds with the “woke” who thrive on political and racial division and work of identity politics where race is seen before character.
So while it may be in a similar realm of subject matter, it’s certainly not used in the same context.

I’ve just looked up the definition of woke.
It is tailor made for those who aim to impress on a football fans forum.
There is clearly competition for who is the most woke.
Those who are not seen as woke or don’t woke enough are clearly now to be dammed and judged .
What was that about not being judgemental .

The word "fantastic" no longer means what it did.
There are lots of words that have drifted way from their original meaning.
Woke is itself a corruption of woke up or awoke as in stopped sleeping adopted by the Afican Americans.
