Every time we hear there was racist abuse on Twitter and we all condemn it but here's my questions;
1) Where is the journalist who is prepared to get to the bottom of whom exactly is posting this vile abuse - I want to know their names, their backgrounds their previous history of behaviour on the internet. & 2) If Twitter allows racist abuse on it's platform over and over and over again...and allows users to be anonymous...then why don't we ban Twitter?
In America there has been high profile cases where it was found that racist/homophobic (etc.) abuse was actually perpetrated by the last people you would expect....because they were trying to create a media story that supports a political narrative.
It is not good enough for our media to report racist abuse, lament it, and not investigate it. Investigate it and make sure there are real world consequences for those involved, regardless of whom they are or what their motivations were.
What does Swansea think?
"It's what people know about themselves inside that makes them afraid" - "In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act" - "The further a society drifts from truth the more it will hate those who speak it"

I don't think anyone actually believes that do they?
The gesture they are making, while it may have good intentions (yet uneducated and incorrect reasoning), the gesture itself absolutely promotes BLM the organisation.
For example if you take the average layman on the street and ask what they are kneeling for, they would respond with some reference to BLM. So it is a promotion of that political movement whether intentional or not. A bit like the fake fur argument if you like, it’s a promotion of something deeply troubling, yet clearly unintended.
I don’t think anyone really thinks the players are intentionally doing it to promote Marxism, most probably don’t even know what it is. Just that the gesture itself, while probably done with good intentions naturally promotes a political movement which adopts Marxist ideals.
This is why the Kick it Out campaign never had any pushback at all, because 99.999% of people dislike racism and agree with the message. While the knee has swathes of pushback, and pushback from all colours and races.
There is a reason for that.
Of all the gestures to adopt in the world, why on earth would you adopt a divisive political one? Makes no sense to me.

It turns out he can't answer that...and yet he maintains he is right. Go figure.

There is no other answer other than to say they are not kneeling to promote Marxism, not my problem that you won’t acknowledge that and would rather promote another agenda.
‘……. like a moth to Itchy’s flame ……’
I always link it back to the vile swastika symbol, because that also has different interpretations depending on where you live. It’s actually a Hindi symbol for prosperity and good luck. But knowing there is an alternative meaning isn’t going to make you want to display or pay homage to such a symbol.
So imagine if there was a mass Nazi movement sweeping the world with riots, billions of dollars of damage, attacks, people losing their homes and gangs of youths walking round cities demanding people make certain gestures or face the mob.... at the same time all that is happening, footballers start bringing out Swastika banners.
The crowd would rightly show their displeasure at the apparent support for such a divisive and racist political movement...
Then they come out and say “it’s original creation was a symbol of peace, prosperity and good luck in Hindi, that is why we are doing it and nothing to do with the politics at all”.
Do you then think people would accept that explanation and start applauding it? Of course not. It wouldn’t make any difference why they are doing it, it’s horrifically clumsy and insensitive at best - to adopt what is clearly an active and divisive political symbol to promote something that has nothing to do with it... is barmy.
Choose a more sensible way of promoting your message if it has absolutely nothing to do with the political movement the gesture you have adopted is synonymous with. Surely people can see that?
The gesture is already synonymous with the politics which is anti police, anti Semitic and wants to destroy the capitalist way of life that has proven to be the most successful economic system we have had on a mass scale.
I love the fact that people can strive to better their lives, I love the fact that you often get rewarded for the efforts you put in, I love the fact our societies and families are protected by the police force and that we accept all religions and races into that society.
So why would anyone want to cross wires with a political movement that stands for the opposite of all of that?
That’s it in a nutshell.

You could say it is possible you are mistaken as I believe you are.
You telling me the likes of Mings knows about Marxism and what it entails. Most of that squad are pigsyte thick. They are sheep, following whatever is the norm for cool.
Many rugby players ,and many of colour ,do not and why-becaue they say they only kneel before God. Nuts also but t is what THEY belieAyway, five, who hows we believe different things so there are no real rights and wrongs.
Anyway,a respectful exchange with itchy is like rocking horse poo.
They are kneeling for BLM, who are Marxist and attacked and injured our police officers in London last year. So by kneeling they are endorsing BLM.
If they wanted to be anti-racist only they could choose another way to express that. Previous anti-racism campaigns and gestures were not booed...because we are not a racist country/society/culture.
By continuing to support BLM, a political movement rejected by the general populace, they are intentionally dividing the crowds/fans...they are almost certainly too dense to understand this. The young millionaire footballers are merely tools of a political movement, used like Hollywood celebs were used by the Left.
I don't have an agenda against England footballers. I would have liked to have seen them win the Euros after we got knocked out actually.
I, and others, am merely pointing out the truth.
From my interactions with you it is clear that you are determined not to understand the points made, so let's leave it there.

Nothing respectful about the way you exchange with me, even though you’re constantly trying to engage with me. Your post here again demonstrates how you are attempting to argue a point I haven’t even made. I’ve only been back five minutes and you’ve been all over me like a rash the whole time.
‘……. like a moth to Itchy’s flame ……’
I think you need to reflect on that which you have sent my way before coming up with that ludicrous reply. You are not able to bully and gang up a you have been able to. You do not want to exchange views if it appears you might be shown up as wrong-as kerouac has shown.
I engage with plenty on here and it's pretty respectful. Have a look and reflect.
I am all over anyone I see who shows lack of respect for opinion.
It’s fantasy Perch - you have a problem with me because I didn’t get involved in your war with Darran, your war not mine. I’ve never gone out of my way to engage you and I’ve never written anything about you except in response to you as I am doing now. You can keep in peddling whatever it is you believe, your prerogative. I’ve not been proved wrong on anything either, no matter how much you’d like to keep repeating it - I understand that some people associate BLM with Marxism, I’m not disputing that, what I’m saying is that the England players aren’t and they are not attempting to promote Marxism by kneeling, that is a FACT. Just because someone on a message board prefers to make a different association it doesn’t make me wrong. 😂. Now you can keep telling porkies and trying to stir up nastiness if you can’t find anything better to do. ðŸ‘ðŸ»
‘……. like a moth to Itchy’s flame ……’
I might have called you weird, can’t be sure but pretty likely. I can say with 100% certainty that I haven’t called you vile or evil, not my kind of insult. Always happy to move forward.
‘……. like a moth to Itchy’s flame ……’
I am weird as many of us are. I couldnt begin to count the ways.
WE MOVE ON AND BURY HATCHET.
Today,I have been seriously looking at Welsh Choirs videos to play at my wife's mums' funeral which is pretty close but she keeps on breathing and paying grotesque money for the privilege too. We got the funeral plan so now it's down to me a her favourire son in law to provide the music .
My choice is this...seriously as they say.
Every kid was taught this at school when I was there
