To be honest, and I've expressed this view to a few people recently, I found it a bit odd how there were no comments or words from BBM when all those players were signing their new contracts recently.
Could be completely wide of the mark, but it stuck out to me.

I’m just wondering what the club’s stance is on this. They say they reluctantly allowed him to leave. Why? If another club were after him we’ve just sacrificed our compensation.
