If Cooper were to leave, thoughts on this guy?

Personally I would go for either Oscar Garcia or Alex Neill but just wondering what views would be if we went down the Winter route of foreign asst manager/2nd team manager.

Have to diagree there Blaine.AC is no insult/abuse merchant,he doesn't even patronise like I do .
I ve seen them all on here and t'other site.

Look out for the ones making out they are football experts and alway know who or what is a good player. They are the one who rubbish people .The ones who implore others to "don't feed the troll".

If we are to change managers then I would agree with this. I think he could do with an "old head" with him though

He brought some of this squads players through, played good football so he would be worth a try.

Plus he has been away from the club too which is sometimes good

Personally I like the younger coach with a passion to develop & progress rather than the older proven version, particularly with what is a predominantly young squad & provided he works well with Scott/Winter should work.

Difficult to comment specifically on Volz apart from decent playing career & working at a recently up & coming team in a tough league - certainly, if interested, worthy of an interview but unsure beyond that.

I reckon Voltz has great potential.

How about someone like Diego Martinez? Only 40 and has a good coaching history with youth and first team. Last managed Granada. All in Spain though, but maybe that's not such a bad thing. We need our continental flair back.

I hope, if Cooper goes, we try to think out of the box. I wouldn't mind Cam Toshack though.

No managerial experience so can’t see him getting a work permit

..

You're absolutely right OHL, as per.

Especially the troll who always lurks in your shadows giving his/her best shot at goading you. Then whips up the sheeple into a frenzy against you.

The one from deep up the swansea valley - whose career chose him/her - has to be a shepherd / minister, with a bitter twist.

Agreed, if Cooper chooses to leverage his high stock value, some left-field thinking is needed again to attract a similarly innovative and successful young manager.

Yet your 'think out of the box' and ' I wouldn't mind Cam Toshack tho' is a tad defeatist.

We can do far better than Toshack, and need to if we want to maintain the same trajectory of rediscovering our Swansea way, and improving upon our last two seasons' outstanding achievement.
