Yeah it looks as if the Germans may well be on the way out.
What puzzles me is that in a 24 team tournament where many of the qualifying groups are decidedly mediocre, what on earth is the reasoning behind putting France, Germany and Portugal in the same group?

Germans equalised now.

I cant remember how the draw came about however it isnt a true group of death as 3 could in theory go through, in many ways this takes out the marketing a bit (Spin) of a group of death.

Bloody hell zeroes to heroes.

2-1 Germany.

Portugal rocking now big time.

The seeding was based on their qualifying performance.

Portugal were actually seeded in the third group of teams whilst Ukraine ended up a top seed ahead of France.

It would be nice if England could flounder just like Germany.

A little bit of intensity goes a long way.

Agreed, but they were at the time of writing that.... they've also lost a game, so had no option, but they've turned it right around no question.

Portugal seemed to totally switch off from their goal, likewise the Germans cannot really afford to lose.

Amazing what can happen when you attack teams with pace, instead of playing constant back passes and playing at a snails pace

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

So it took no account of the fact that France were the World Cup holders and Portugal the holders of this trophy? Seems pretty bizarre.

It is UEFA....

It wasn’t meant as a dig at you TGRRSSS

I heard it mentioned on the commentary, and the punditry in the studios isn’t much better.

Or could just be that Germany are slightly tougher opposition than Hungary.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

What is it with the Portugal v Germany layout of this fixture? It was played in Munich but normally the home team are first. I know this year is different but it's a bit confusing.

Poll: Expectations for this season?

Guess I'm late here but just noticed our old boss Paulo Sousa is the Poland manager.

He’s certainly made Poland well organized. No surprise there.
